With the 41st pick in the 2016 NFL Mock Draft, the Chicago Bears select:

Le'Raven Clark
School: Texas Tech | Position: OT | Experience: RS Senior | Height: 6'5" | Weight: 316 lbs | Arm Length: 36 1/8" | Hand Size: 11 7/8"
40 YD: 5.16 | Bench: 18 | Broad: 109" (Pro Day) | 3-Cone: N/A | Shuttle: N/A
Positives:

• [*=left]Tremendous physical skillset. Tall and long with unique arm length and hand size (96th and 99th percentile, respectively) to give him the advantage on edge defenders.
[*=left]Excellent athlete with the quick feet and lateral agility to be a top LT in the league. Shows terrific knee bend and weight transfer in his kick-slide.
[*=left]Patient in pass pro and does not get too wild when engaging defenders.
[*=left]Flashes power and ability to anchor in the running game. Will have to show more consistency.
[*=left]51 consecutive starts, 3 time All-Big 12. Tough and competitive with a high football IQ.

• [*=left]

Negatives:

• [*=left]Worked out of a two point stance at Texas Tech and will need a lot of coaching up to transition from college spread to NFL.
[*=left]Was coached to retreat off the snap instead of attacking, will need a lot of work with this at the next level.
[*=left]Needs to improve overall technique in his hand placement and footwork.
[*=left]Needs more work developing overall upper body and core strength.

Pro Comparison: Ereck Flowers, NYG

Overview:

The Bears are very happy to have selected their LT of the future here in Le'Raven Clark. This has very much been a position that hasn't had a great starter for a very long time. With the interior positions solidified with Matt Slauson, Kyle Long, and Hroniss Grassu, along with the addition of Bobby Massie at RT, Clark can learn at his own pace and will not immediately be pressed into starting duty. Charles Leno is not a great LT but he will manage as the rest of the line is very strong. Clark will see some game action but the expectation is that he won't start until Year Two.

With the 42nd pick, The Miami Dolphins select...

Devontae Booker, HB, Utah

I can hear all the complaining among Dolphins fans now. "How do you take another RB when the Heisman winner is still there?" I just think Booker is a better back, and has the chance to be very good. In a deep RB class I thought about waiting and taking the best one available in round 3 or 4, but the more I think about it, the more I see a guy like Booker making a major impact on offense. I think he can be a Matt Forte-type player and do a little bit of everything for Adam Gase at RB. He is a little bit older than you'd like, and he is coming off of an injury, but he is one of my favorite players in this draft. He runs hard, can make people miss, can catch the ball like a WR, and can block some. I think him and Ajayi would make a great combo.

Germain will compete for a tackle position along the Lions OL. While he may be more suited for the RT position, he will be given opportunity in camp to prove himself on the left before being determined where he will play.

Tyler is coming off a bit of a down year, which afforded the Bills a chance at such an accomplished prospect. Tyler will provide a nice counterpart to Sammy Watkins, while also bringing toughness and confidence needed to succeed in the NFL.

With the 53rd pick in the 2016 NFL Mock Draft, the Washington Redskins select:

Artie Burns
School: Miami (FL) | Position: CB | Experience: Junior | Height: 6'0" | Weight: 192 lbs | Arm Length: 33 1/4" | Hand Size: 9 1/2"
40 YD: 4.46 | Bench: 7
(Pro Day) | Broad: 124" (Pro Day) | 3-Cone: 6.96 (Pro Day) | Shuttle: 4.30 (Pro Day)

Positives:

• Long, physical, big-body prototype Corner. Complete athlete with experience in Track. Experience playing both CB and FS.
• Excellent straight line speed, can make a recovery quickly and doesn't get beat over the top very often.
• Willing in run support but will need to get strong and more consistent with his tackling.
• Ball skills like a Wide Receiver. Not afraid to take a calculated risk to go get the ball or knock it away.
• Adept in both off and press man coverage. Plays to his size and uses an effective jam.

Negatives:

• [*=left]Needs to get a lot stronger to get off blocks at the next level and be even more effective jamming.
[*=left]A bit straightline-ish; can be beat by quicker receivers.
[*=left]Footwork can get out of control at times transitioning from backpedal.
[*=left]Overall still a raw player who relies on athleticism more than technique. Will need to be coached up at the next level.

Pro Comparison: Darius Slay, Lions

Overview:

The Redskins are dedicated to getting better on Defense and clearly that is apparent in our first two picks. Our offense is in good hands with Franchise savior Kirk Cousins and the defensive front five has some valuable pieces in place. There needs to be a serious commitment to getting better at ILB and in the secondary, which we have done adding Darron Lee and Artie Burns. Burns in particular is the type of versatile DB that Washington loves. There are some guys in place, Bashaud Breeland is effective inside and out, and after transitioning from WR Quinton Dunbar showed improvement every week. Burns overcame the tragic death of his mother mid-season and, with his teammates rallying around him, was able to have a special Junior year. He has all the physical tools you could want in a CB and we expect him to come in rotation at the beginning of the season. We don't expect him to replace incumbent Chris Culliver right away, but we expect that the trio of Breeland, Dunbar, and Burns should be formidable for years to come.

With the 55th Pick in the 2016 GM League Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select:

Braxton Miller

School: Ohio State (*cringe) | Position: WR | Experience: Senior | Height: 6-1 | Weight: 201 | Arm Length: 31 3/4” | Hand Size: 9 1/8”
40 YD: 4.50 (4.41 Pro Day) | Bench: 17 | Vertical: 35.0” | Broad: 123” | 3-Cone: 6.65 | Shuttle: 4.07

Overview:
One of the more interesting stories in college football in 2015, Miller's descent from two-time Big Ten MVP to third-string passer could have ended badly. But after missing 2014 with a shoulder injury, Miller took on the challenge of switching to receiver for his senior year. Bragging that he was the "best athlete in college football", Miller looked prophetic with outstanding open-field moves and speed in the limited opportunities he received this season (24 catches, 329 yards, three TD receiving; 40 carries, 234 yards, one TD rushing). His elusiveness with the ball wasn’t surprising, as he had rushed for more than 1,000 yards in 2012 and 2013, but the natural hands he showed as a receiver make him an intriguing prospect.

Strengths:

• Considered one of the leaders for the winningest senior class in college football history.
• Immediately checks boxes for height, weight and speed.
• Tremendous balance and body control in all of his movements.
• Features legitimate vertical acceleration to climb over the top on deep routes.
• Hands are good enough, but concentration is even better.
• Uses well-timed leaps and dives to make the demanding catches.
• Capability as a zone-read quarterback create added value.
• Has loose hips for jitterbug elusiveness in space and it isn’t easy to get a solid hit on him.
• Multiple gears to separate in his routes or as a ballcarrier.
• Understands hesitation in his patterns, setting up defenders before bursting in different directions.
• Deceiving body strength to squirm out of would-be tackles.
• Compares to Andre Roberts

Weaknesses:

• Just one year of work at receiver and has limited production as a pass-catcher.
• Reliant upon speed and athletic ability over skill at the position.
• Raw route-runner. Needs work with his footwork, especially at the stem of patterns.
• Upright into his routes with very little sell from his upper body to create hesitation from defenders.
• Not yet ready to work the intermediate routes.
• Used deep and short.
• Needs to improve his ball security and get ball tucked away in proper arm.

Scout Says:
- NFC Exec

GM Says:

Bottom Line:
Miller is a gifted and exciting open-field athlete with game-changing speed and the twitched-up ability to be elusive, not slowing down in his cuts. He showed signs of being able to translate his ability to read defenses as a passer to reading coverages in his routes, but is still unpolished in this area and will need time as he continues his development at wide receiver. Miller’s ability with the ball in his hands could help his cause, but the difference between being a gadget player and productive receiver will rest with his ability to digest coaching and convert it on the field.

With the 63rd pick Denver selects
Su'a Cravens, S-LB hybrid USC

Denver's defense receives another playmaker with one of my favorite guys in this draft who productively
finished his USC career w/ 10.5 sacks, 34.5 TFL, 9 INT, 16 PD, and 4 FF. I have a solid 1st round grade on the underrated Trojan who adds necessary depth to the safety position and should immediately replace the departed Danny Trevathan in sub packages.

With the 66th (3rd Rd) pick of the draft the Chargers select: Graham Glascow C (Michigan)

The Chargers are once again shocked that their top rated position player of need is available to draft. In the 1st Rd the top rated OL/player in the entire draft falls to us, in the 2nd the top rated (before injury) LB/entire draft is still there, and in the 3rd our board's highest rated C is still there. Perfect fit, immediate starter, the beginnings of a top notch OL with he and Tunsil. Very happy for Glascow to join the squad.

With the 67th (3rd Rd) pick of the draft the Cowboys select: Jalen Mills CB/S (LSU)

The Cowboys are delighted to get this player to solidify the 3rd level of the defense after taking DE Dodd and LB Jack in previous rounds. A 4 year starter that might be a better slot cover than he is a safety. Runs a 4.48 40 and is excellent as a blitzer. Talented all-around playmaker and ball-hawk... a missing piece from the Cowboys defensive backfield for quite a few years.

After shoring up the defense the Cowboys are now able to look for play-makers on offense and backups/future gems on both sides of the ball.

With the 71st pick in the 2016 NFL Draft the New York Giants select: Pharoh Cooper, WR, University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!)

The allure of this guy opposite OBJ along with Cruz is just too much. Victor Cruz may be back but will he be the same player? These Giants arent good enough to take the chance hes not, leaving OBJ as the the only downfield threat. So the NYG go with the best player left on their board at a position of need. There was only 1 player ranked ahead of Cooper here but the NYG just invested a high pick at that position last year.

With the 72nd pick in the 2016 NFL Mock Draft, the Chicago Bears select:

Jeremy Cash
School: Duke | Position: SS | Experience: Senior | Height: 6'0" | Weight: 212 lbs | Arm Length: 32 3/8" | Hand Size: 10 1/2"
40 YD: N/A | Bench: 13 | Broad: N/A | 3-Cone: N/A | Shuttle: N/A
Positives:
[*=left]Big, physical presence at SS. Aggressive and does not show any hesitation in execution. Often plays like an extra LB in the box.
[*=left]Very instinctive run stopper. Takes best angle to tackle the ball carrier. Quick to disengage from blockers.
[*=left]Good tackling technique. Strikes target and wraps up well. Willing to throw his body around.
[*=left]Good straight line speed. Often able to run past potential blockers.
[*=left]Adequate ability playing in zone coverage. Has shown the ability to play man coverage against backs and Tight Ends.

Negatives:

[*=left]Still skinny and could stand to add more weight and muscle to him.
[*=left]Lacks instincts necessary to play deep in zone coverage or man against Receivers. Often bites hard on misdirection.
[*=left]Stiff and lacks COD abilities. Won't be able to hold up as a Nickel Corner at the next level.

Pro Comparison: Jaquiski Tartt, 49ers

Overview:

After selecting Mackensie Alexander in the 1st round, the Bears complete their youth movement in the defensive backfield by adding Duke SS Jeremy Cash to replace the aging Antrel Rolle. Cash is a true box safety but don't let that term be seen as derogatory; he is damn good at what he does. His instinctual ability to read the run and excellent tackling ability makes him far more reliable than Rolle, who often tackles too high or at a ballcarrier's ankles. Cash will also help a run defense that ranked 22nd in the league last year that was boosted by free agent additions Jerrell Freeman and Danny Trevathan in Free Agency. Cash, Amos, Fuller, Alexander, and Callahan have the potential to be the new "Monsters of the Midway."

After the Tampa draft floor takes a couple shots following their draft board torn apart in the past 5-10 picks, tempted to reach for a LB or possible go with best available interior OL, the consensus is to double down on value and go with a skilled high motor D-lineman:

Sheldon Day, DT/DE, Notre Dame

Plug and play next to McCoy, but played well at 4-3 end in the Senior Bowl. With a focus on RE, he can initially be eased in with Ayers now of the roster... Potentially playing inside if needed depending on Akeem Spences health and rotation.

With the 80th pick, the Buffalo Bills select...

Joshua Perry, LB, Ohio State!

Even before losing Nigel Bradham to FA, Buffalo was looking to bolster its LB group. Perry will come in an vie for a starting position while also providing flexibility to play multiple spots in the defense.
