Sorry dude, Miller Lite is just not good. Its drinkable in a pinch but I dont like it. Its a step up from chewing your beer (like Guiness).
Gaak. Anything with the words "Miller" "Coors" or "Budwieser" anywhere on the label isn't even the Mogen David 20/20 of beers IMO... in fact, it doesn't even taste like beer. Somewhere in Europe there are about 100K monks spinning around in their graves every time someone calls that stuff "Beer".
So you admit to liking urine more than one of the primary ingredients of beer. hmmm ... that explains why you like Miller!
One thing is undeniable: Beer is the best drink on the planet. Its the only drink you drink in 12 packs. Its the best drink to drink when you have a garbage day at work or when youre just ticked off. You drink it to celebrate or to wash away the day. Damn, I love beer Ya its pretty sick but damn if it isnt true
I'm in New Hampshire right now, my wife is touring UNH with my son and the Red Hook Brewery is right down the road. UMMMMM
While dropping off my wife and son at UNH, I passed a Soap and Suds!!! Got to love it, do your laundry, have a beer and pick up a girl while in college!
I like Coors light when I'm being cheap and Becks when I have some extra cash. Natty Light was the popular choice during my college days. I didn't mind it when we were playing beer pong or just drinking a ton. I come from a long line of men who just drank whatever was put in front of them. So really I can drink just about anything and not complain.
I've had my fair share of beers, so it's hard for me to narrow down my favorites. My Local Beer (Only available on tap or by the keg) http://www.tallgrassbeer.com My Summer Beer ... My Winter Beer ... My non-beer choice. Great on a fall day when watching football. I'll probably be drinking this during the game on Sunday.
One thing I dont like is a stout or porter beer. I feel like I need a knife and fork to drink something that thick. Otherwise not bad choices.
Ah Boik, stouts and porters are good. I sure like them a lot more than I like light pilsner lagers (which most common brands are)
Got some honey brown yesterday 'cuz it was cheap. I was surprised at how smooth it was. Pretty decent; mild hoppy flavor. I liked it. Might not go on the favorites list, but good in a pinch.
i like flying fish summer ale when im out and get drafts. the wife likes amstel light, and i certainly dont mind it, so thats usually in my fridge. and i like the big 16oz grolsch lately, like the way that big cold bottle fits in my mit.
Yeah its weird because I like dark beers but I guess theres a point where its just too rich. Thats not to say I wont do an Irish car bomb (shot of baileys in a half pint of guiness which you proceed to take like a shot) here and there. Im not a big fan of light beers either unless Im planning on getting wasted.
Yup - I switch up between Boddies, Guinness, Bass (I make my black and tans sometimes), St Pauli's, and Yuengling. I would drink John Smith's Extra Smooth as well but can't find it anywhere around here.
Just found this thread, but better late than never. IPAs: DFH 90min Stone Ruination (my IPA of choice) Alesmith IPA Great Divide Hercules Stout: Samuel Smith Oatmeal (everyday stout) Three Floyds Dark Lord (hard to find, but amazing if you can get one) Surley Darkness (Another AMAZING beer, but nearly impossible to find. I've only had it a hand full of times, but WOW) A few others that I enjoy - DFH Midas Touch Southern Tier Phin and Matts Rochefort 10 Westy 12
I usually get Busch Light because it's cheap... if I'm really cheap than I'll get Keystone Light... Welcome to the college life...
Yuengling. Shiner. Guinness (also Smithwick's, made by Guinness). Corona (sometimes). Dogfish Head. Flying Dog. Victory Beers.
