I have been collecting UDFA information for a long time. Should be interesting this year with all the focus on offense in draft. Thanks Lafayette Pitts, cb, Pitt Marshall Koehn, K, Iowa Tyler Gray, LB, Boise State AJ Hendy, DB, Maryland Ruben Carter, OL, Florida State/Toledo Brandon Shippen WR Temple Akil Blount ILB Florida AM Ryan DiSalvo LS, San Jose State Farrington Huguenin, DE Kentucky James Burgess, LB, Louisville Rashawn Scott, Wr, UM Gabe Hughes,TE, Florida Tech
CB LaFayette Pitts from Pitt, according to local area reporter there on twitter. Long winded and unconfirmed rumor on kicker Andrew Baggett from Missouri. Also as usual I can't say if its a signing or a try-out. Unconfirmed tweet linking kicker Marshall Koehn to us as well.
I'm just posting info, ask the gurus for opinions, I have no clue Kicker Marshall Kohen from Iowa may well have signed, that looks legit.
Akil Blount, LB, FAMU. Son of Mel Blount. Omar Kelly's alma mater so we may be hearing about this one.
I don't know what's confirmed...I know of 3 players. We didn't get Stryker or Lumpkins and I'm pissed they both went to the Bills. And I'm not including them getting Ragland.
9 p.m. update: Here's a running list of undrafted players reportedly joining the Dolphins, some reported elsewhere by reporters in their college home towns: 1) UM WR Rashawn Scott (can confirm this). 52 catches, 695 yards, 5 TDs last season. 2) Boise State LB Tyler Gray. 51 tackles, 3 sacks, 8 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, one blocked punt last season. 3) Iowa kicker Marshall Koehn. 47 for 53 on extra points last season (after going 38 for 38 the year before) and 16 for 20 on field goals last season. 4) Florida Tech tight end Gabe Hughes. 32 catches, 566 yards, 3 TDs last season. 5) FAMU LB Akil Blount. 75 tackles, two INTs (both returned for TDs) last season. Son of Hall of Famer Mel Blount. 6) Kentucky DE Farrington Huguenin. 52 tackles, 1.5 sacks last season. 7) Temple WR Brandon Shippen. 20 catches for 288 yards and 1 TD last season. He's 5-11. 8) San Jose State long snapper Ryan DiSalvo. (Hadn't seen this one yet) Jackson doesn't have Ruben Carter, Lafayette Pitts, AJ Hendy, or James Burgess who all I've seen confirmed elsewhere. (I had been posting in the club)
I was wondering if there was any relation, he's a RB to boot. EDIT; Earl Meggett is a fictional character from the version of "The Longest Yard" that I won't watch. Davin Meggett is the son of Dave Meggett, and he's been floating around the league for a couple years.
Yeah, I remember hearing that, it was news here in Jersey because he was a huge fan fav amongst the Gi'aint's fans.
