Nice night to be a Spurs fan but that's not going to happen often, if at all, for the rest of the playoffs. Durant and Westbrook have too much pride to not compete during the next game. Still, horrible way to open a series.
Theres a really big difference between the Warriors, Spurs and the rest of the West. It kind of gets overshadowed by the Warriors season but the Spurs were fantastic this year and really they might have the best playoff Roster in the league.
Lotta missed free throws early on. That's gonna come back and bite us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gotta be ready for CHA to come out in the 2nd half hunting 3 pointers. They'll be jacking them up the rest of the way, imo.
Forget about the blocks. The shot on almost every drive with Whiteside in has been altered. It's like seeing a quarterback that's taken a bunch of hits and is hearing footsteps. He is in their heads.
Not a good look for my friend who's an OKC fan and promised me a Heat loss. Section, any recommendations on a strip club? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shows us those three losses against charlotte was a fluke. Those refs arent doing much to help them anymore.
Lol this team. You don't know which Heat team is coming out. Like Forrest Gump said: "The Heat is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get"
Wade gets us to Game 7...rest of the crew seals the deal at home. Dragic just ABUSED Kemba. The defense today was outstanding, top to bottom. Total domination. Who do we want tonight? I feel like we should be favorites over either of them. I think I'd rather get IND with homecourt advantage. We're better equipped to guard PG13 than TOR is, and aside from him they basically just have a bunch of guys who are decent. They clearly have the better coach in Vogel though (it's not close), which is what gives me confidence even in TOR, not to mention how bad Lowry and DeRozan have been.
Indiana just for home court. I think we are well favored over both. Round one was a harder draw than round two IMO.
Credit to Section he called it, Kemba shot his wad in Game 6 and it wasn't good enough. He came out Game 7 dead. He had nothing left for the return trip. I think Miami knew it, predicted it, and they adjusted by doubling Al Jefferson whenever he wanted to post up on Whiteside, which he'd been having success doing all series long. People are going to say there was an adjustment on Kemba to produce this bad game but I don't really think so. He just didn't have anything left after trying his damnedest to close Miami out in Charlotte. So basically no Kemba and no Jefferson on offense, and those two had become their top two scoring options in the previous six games all told. If Charlotte were going to win today it was going to be because they were raining three pointers down on the Heat from the outside. I thought Batum threatened to do exactly that but for some reason they just didn't pounce on it. They'd gotten so used to beating Miami in the paint they forgot that all year they were the kind of team that could beat you by making 15 three pointers in a game. That was my view of it, anyway.
Really wanted to avoid Toronto. We have the match up advantage but that crowd with our rookies/inexperienced vets does not mix well. Wade and Deng will have to lead them. I sure wish Bosh was back..
Raptors are a good team, but if Miami plays like they did in their wins Toronto doesn't stand a chance. This should be a good series - Toronto is a balanced team.
Last night was the worst officiating I've seen in the playoffs, and that's saying something. Indy fans should be ****ing livid. That was criminal.
I can see the Toronto series being another 6 game series... Its going to be tough to win up there. But we will have to get one at least
Last year atlanta was better but i think they make it more competitive this year against cleveland. Still think cleveland wins in 5 though. Last year atlanta was completely outmatched
