The opposite. The only "skill" in close games is "execution". That is a brain function. LeBron very much has that skill.
Why is it "truth" when you and a few others have issues with officiating....but when the show is on the other foot?? You ignore that and chalk it up to the Heat just being that good? I remember thinking all my sports teams were conspired against and all the calls went against them. Then I turned 17. All Im saying is you should atleast make an attempt at being indifferent.
Damn OKC has a shot at closing this out at HOME on Thursday. That series took a turn. With Westbrook and Durant OKC arguably has two of the 5 best players in the league right now.
Because you are full of **** with this Fin-O. You are making the complaints we have had of the officiating to be fabricated, or delusions or complete figments of our imagination. That is not only insulting, it's stupid, since we have posted the NBA L2M reports that BACK UP what we were complaining about, and then of course, SOMEBODY's SPECIFIC prediction about the officiating in the Hornets series...CAME TRUE. Oh yeah..I am sure that the Heat's FO formal complaint and the coaches/players complaining had no effect whatsoever on the 180- the officiating took after game 5.
Despite all the "these are the best refs in sports" platitudes that announcers keep spewing, the fact is that there have been a great many obvious mistakes. Those mistakes can go both ways but sometimes they favor one team over another. In these playoffs, the calls have gone against the Heat. This is not a subjective opinion. This is quantifiable. It's been proven by the NBA's own reports. This does not mean it's a conspiracy or that the NBA does not want a Cavs/Heat final. But it does mean that complaints about the officiating screwing the Heat are justifiable. What isn't justifiable is posts claiming that the officiating is not a factor, b/c the fact is that it has been.
Dragic assessed technical foul for his "punch" of Joseph. Whatever. Completely pointless. Thankfully no suspension or anything
http://blogs.herald.com/miami_heat/...rt-in-the-series-nine-have-hurt-the-heat.html The NBA has admitted that 75% of the missed/incorrect calls in the last two minutes have gone against the Heat. The NBA's own L2M report is showing that refs are missing calls, and officiating is affecting the outcome of incredibly close games. All I'm saying is you should at least make an attempt at being indifferent.
Ethan wondering if the Raptors will end up putting Wade up on the big board to incite the crowd into booing. Oh god I hope that happens.
They will do anything for an advantage.. Though i get the feeling that the end result will be similar to Lebrons first game vs Cleveland
This is who we are unfortunately. Every game we have at least one half quarter with 3-4 points. Just slow, ugly, impotent offense. - sent via Tapatalk -
Wade saved himself for the second half. Luol Deng looked like he wanted to die on the court he was so tired.
At this point if there is a game seven in Toronto, I don't think anyone survives. None of the players, coaches or fans will be left standing. Judgment day.
All I know is whoever makes it out of this series will be gassed and depleted against the Cavs. Next year I guess will hopefully be our year.
It's exactly what the NBA wants. I know I sound like a conspiracy loony but I've seen it too often to care anymore.
Its sad to see both these teams limp their way to the ECF. We had such a good second half to the season, so did the Raptors. And now with both teams injuries the ECF will be represented badly, Cavs are a great team but the path isnt suppose to be this easy for them, there are other good teams too. Oh well, I wouldnt doubt if Jonas returns Game 6 and they close it out. We will need a miracle performance by Wade, but with Dengs injury, and Joe playing the way he is, we are really against the wall here. Spo has one of the best winning percentages on elimination games.. We will see what he comes up with next.
Hopefully Deng is back next game. That would be a killer. The Joe Johnson thing is really frustrating. He was brought here mainly to be a 3pt threat on a team without any. Instead, he's mostly causing more of what is the main problem offensively with Miami, which is the ball sticking. I think he's getting a little more crap than he deserves from fans because in times when the team can't buy a basket he can create offense on his own, and that was really big in OT in game 1. But this team is really without an identity on offense and needs to find a way to move the ball. I get that it's hard without Whiteside in there, and the Raptors are basically leaving guys like Winslow, Haslem, and McRoberts wide open (with good reason), but it has to be better than this. Hopefully Miami can find a way to pull it out on Friday and maybe get Whiteside back for game 7.
If the NBA was in control THAT much?? Your Heat wouldn't be down 3-2. In a watered down East, a Miami-Clev matchup would make a huge difference in ratings.
Okay that is true, I'm a salty butt hurt Heat fan. However, I'm over it now. Yes you are correct. The NBA would want a Heat vs Cavs ECF. My poor Heat. Maybe next year.
I'm trying to figure out why Miami consistently falls on the wrong side of these L2M reports. Could it be that Spo/Wade/Dragic, ***** so much to the refs that they have a Bias against them? We know that Steve Javie hated Pat Riley personally, and once said so. (thus why Pat Riley had that poor record in Javie games) and then of course, you had the Brothers Big 3 era.... Heat have played 5 games, and have not gotten to their game yet in this series. Most of it is an adjustment to not having HW, but a lot of it is fear of turnovers, so we have become ISO driven. Remember that Dwane Casey was the Def. Coordinator of the 11' Mavs. He is an expert at making for ugly ISO driven series. So credit should be given. This is fun however, huh? Some more drama on the way. We are getting every ounce out of this team considering that Stigmata has struck. In game 6..SPO MUST go with our No center lineups...PERIOD. They have had WILD success the last two games. We are talking +14 in 10 min. in game 4, and +12 in 7 min. in game 5.
I can't see how that's it. Casey didn't stop crying the entire game last night, and Lowry is pretty bad as well.
I think Wade needs to score 70 for the Heat to win the next two games. I don't know about the refs, I've seen most of these games, I don't think the refs are playing a big part, its just an ugly series where the refs don't give a **** to be honest.
