To me the most fun part about this draft that Miami had is there are legitimately six guys, each of which you could imagine yourself saying years from now "He was their biggest steal in that draft".

For me those being Laremy Tunsil, Leonte Carroo, Jakeem Grant, Brandon Doughty, Jordan Lucas and Thomas Duarte.

My assessment of Leonte Carroo when I had to review him after Miami picked him was basically more or less the following:

    Strengths (in order of significance)
    - Exceptional balance. Plays with his pads over his feet at all times. Makes him deadly off breaks (e.g. comebacks), sight adjustments and when being thrown open by the quarterback (e.g. back shoulder).
    - Short strider. Quick on the accelerator. Combine this attribute with his exceptional balance and this is why he's so good on run after catch. It's not necessarily that he's so good of a make-you-miss guy in the open.
    - Get off. Has a variety of ways he gets off the press, and knows how to use the tools at his disposal to get off the jam. One of the best in the class dealing with press coverage.
    - Strong. This enhances most of his functions as a wide receiver but is especially helpful when it comes to finishing catches versus contested coverage and his run after catch.

    Weaknesses (in order of significance)
    - Average size. He's strong for his size, but he's not going to make many size/strength dominant plays. The type of thing that can keep you from being elite at his role.
    - Weak catch point. Passive at the catch point far too often relative to what kind of receiver he is. Improvement here is a must for him.
    - Average speed. His speed will not be why he gets open at the next level. Can't take the top off a defense. Not critical to be the type of receiver he's trying to be.

This is an interesting player that should play very well particularly with a Ryan Tannehill because he should be good on routes that Tannehill likes to throw. He's been compared with Rishard Matthews but he's got some James Jones and Jarvis Landry in him as well, and should function in some similar roles as what you saw from Brian Hartline back when Tannehill made him a productive receiver. Ironic that he is a Joe Philbin archetypal receiver. What is so intriguing about him is that he adds a bonus to many of these routes because of his ridiculous balance and ability to keep his feet through the break, the catch and the turn to make a defender miss. He's the anti-Hartline that way. So imagine Brian Hartline with legit balance and RAC ability. He needs to improve his shielding and attacking of the ball with his hands in order to be relied on for slants, a route Tannehill excels at throwing with pinpoint accuracy. Doing so would unlock considerable upside with this quarterback in terms of potentially being an 80 to 100 catch type guy one day. Otherwise he should be good for back shoulder throws and comebacks, as well as double moves.

Yeah, my bad, on memory I had 3rds higher, but it still has the potential to be worth 500 pts, which is a high 2nd.

It will be over 300, the 86th pick is worth 160, if we are 8-8 next years pick will be higher than 86, and those 2 alone are above 300, but if we are 6-10 again then that pick will be over 200 pts, and the 4th, if we don't have a 4th comp pick will be worth around another 100 pts, so 160 + 230 + 90 + 25 = 505, and that is a very realistic possibility.
