What is quoted there is indeed pretty "straight forward". It's talking about his game. Winning a 3rd title and and going to a 6th straight finals has everything to do with his game and nothing to do with anything else surrounding him. Then to make it even more "straight forward" I specifically said are there people questioning his game, to which you replied that there are "tons" of Heat fans doing so. So now you're going to try and move the goal posts because you were wrong?
I really believe that these claims of Miami fans here criticizing Lebron's game are imagined. If they weren't then somebody would have posted some examples of the "tons" that allegedly exist. What I find ironic is that Cleveland fans treated Lebron about as badly as I've ever seen a player treated. They booed him when Miami played in Cleveland relentlessly and had urinal cakes with his face on them. Contrast that to Lebron being applauded when he played at Miami after he returned to Cleveland. LOL
Teams that blow 3-1 leads in the NBA playoffs and then play game 7 on the road...are 7-7. Scott Foster is the Head ref tonight. (He is a road team favoring, home team antagonist, and easily the worst Ref in basketball) So it all sets up for a close game...right? I don't see it. Dubs beatdown is coming.
Well if Durant and Westbrook both keep channeling their inner James Harden they stand no chance. When they were playing good defense and taking solid shots they were the best team in the league. The one that has been giving away games recently is the same crappy team that blew leads all year.
I thought their defense was pretty good last game. What killed them was their shot selection. That's the vintage strategy that OKC has used to give away games this season.
It wasn't good in the last 5 minutes. They gave up a lot of shots and had no answers late on offense. Granted Klay got hot and theres not much you can do about that but they had no one to stop him thats for sure.
Isn't this the league basically admitting that they have a terrible ref here? Why is it ok to ever let this guy officiate? So its fine for him to ruin a game 3 but not at game 7?
One thing to keep an eye on is KD is averaging 36PPG in the 2 prior playoff G7's hes played in his career. I dont doubt he will hit that number. How he gets there (efficiently or not) will decide a lot imo.
Steph Curry once again not respecting the court, doing stupid dribbling that ends up with nothing but sloppy offensive sets
Basically Curry after EVERY shot does some sort of a cocky bs act....the times he makes it ESPN loves making a big deal out of those antics in a positive way. He is the NBA's biggest phony.
A lot of ex players don't seem to like Curry..... GS is lucky right now, OKC has missed a TON of open looks at close range. I mean they've missed like 10 shots that were very easy shots.
Durant is no Lebron.. Lebron is a lot more in control than this guy. This series and the Finals is evidence that Durant and Lebron are on separate leagues. Durant is a great scorer but Lebron just dominates and controls the game in wins and losses.
Curry looking like the Steph who took down Cleveland in the finals. He was playing oddly hesitant from my perspective this series. Sent from my SM-J500M using Tapatalk
Kind of a tough game for OKC, not a lot of free throws for your stars on the road, hard to win a game like that. Close game right now though all things considered.
When Golden State is making shots like that, they're damn near impossible to beat. Both games 6 and 7, though, OKC got taken out of their game when GS started hitting. They started trying to jack up shots too, but that isn't their game. They need to continue to attack and they stopped doing that.
Now we wait and see what happens with KD. I thought after they started this series strong that he was a lock to sign a 1 year deal in OKC, and I still think that's the most likely outcome. But losing this series the way they did leaves a bad taste in your mouth and he could leave now. Hopefully Riley can make it happen. And if you don't want him, you're crazy. He's not LeBron, but how many in NBA history are? He's a phenomenal player that could get even better in the Heat organization.
Unfortunately, I see no possible way that happens. Unless somehow Wade takes one hell of a pay cut. I mean like $5 mill a year total salary.
Reading some of the posts during this game....Uh...you guys have watched the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS THIS YEAR right? A) They hit shots B) They play spectacular one on one defense C) They hit more shots D) They play the very best P&R Defense E) They hit even more shots.
I thought you were insane when you said it, and I think you are bat **** crazy now. I think Kevin Love with a Perimeter defender on him like Draymond Green is gonna go well for him....and I am sure Kyrie can lock down Steph, and JR Smith si gonna match Klay Thompson..and of course..LeBron is great but then has to face off with a life long nemesis (who won a MVP Finals on his back last year) in Iggy. Then you gotta worry about Harrison Barnes, and Livingston that can get loose on you for big games. This matchup is MURDER for Cleveland. OKC was a MUCH better matchup for them and I had it even money with a slight lean toward Cleveland. Now? I am praying I can get -150 for the series....but I know it's gonna be a ridiculous number.
No way he stays. He tried for a damn near decade in okc. 2 super teams are in the current finals. Hes tired of losing im sure. I cant think of any team that has a better shot than us. Lakers? Lol no. No one in the west, definitely not the team that just knocked him out. Pat can make the call in what, 24 hours?
Miami can give kd a 1+1 with the max next year if things go well. Try something new, he knows what he has in okc. How much money would he lose if he 1+1'd in miami and signed a max next year rather than doing the same in okc?
Dubs are -230. Take it and BID IT. Cavs are +190. You can book the other side. Excellent opportunity.
Theoretically Wade could take a minimum deal for a year, give the Heat about a $1M cap hold in 2017, which would mean the Heat could then give him a max deal that year and all it would count against Miami's cap is about $1M in a year the cap explodes again. That would mean Whiteside, Wade, Bosh, Durant, Dragic, and money to sign other players. That's obviously a long shot, but at the end of the day Wade would end up with the same amount of money and probably more rings.
Sorry guys but theres no chance Wade takes minimum salary at this point in his career after what he accomplished this season, and definitely not for Durant, someone who he has a beef with going back years. He wouldnt even do it for LeBron and they are brothers. Its a sweet pipe dream but unless we can unload Dragic/McBob for virtually nothing, we have no room for a player like KD when you take into account what is on the books for Bosh, Whiteside at Max or close to it, AND whatever Wade is going to get. I still think KD is a lock to stay alongside Russ in OKC for at least the next season. Riley and Andy need to work their magic...
