What's funny is they never were at least on this board. All the alleged slights against Lebron's game proved to be imagined. The criticism's of the Cavs' team that were called bitter and homerism are now being parroted by every talk show as fact. So the Heat fans here the ones who provided the balanced and most accurate analysis. The homers were the Cavs' who over-estimated the Cavs' chances or believed Lebron could win a championship by himself.

Damn I always forget how soon the NBA Draft is. Not that it matters, since the Heat don't have a pick.

I'm told they are in the market for a 2nd rounder. They are eye balling somebody.

Yeah, it would be like a group of players playing together then making plans a few years down the road when they all were scheduled to be free agents to arrange to sign together. Unlikely? Maybe. I don't think a organization or player making plans more than a year or two out is really that unlikely, I think these guys have their finances in order and have plans that go way beyond a year or two. These guys are not dumb and things don't just happen on the fly when it comes to huge contracts and long term deals.

Melo is not realistic at all. Sorry. Love isn't better then porzingis so he's not starting at PF and neither Love or KP is able to be a full time center so Lopez would be starting at C. And frankly I'd rather have Lopez over love at this point given the knicks roster. That's realistic on NBA 2k with trade override.

Kevin Love out for game 3. Guess we'll never know if the Warriors can beat a full-strength Cavs team in a series.

LeBron has been wearing #6 on his practice jersey ever since he came back to Cleveland in case y'all see SportsCenter trying to push that angle as a new development.

I really really really feel like declaring a lead pipe lock, bet all your money, time to get rich bet on Cleveland tonight.

But the Dubs have me shook, so I am gonna sit this one out..but I kinda feel good about a Cavs win tonight. But won't bet a dime on it.

Love being out is good for Cleveland...unless Frye takes over those minutes. Role players step up at home though, and I see JR Smith letting it fly tonight. I'm still going with GSW out of want, but if I had to come up with odds, I'd give it 55% CLE.

It would be fun because of all the Kevin Love #hottaeks, but nah. Cavs get blown the hell out. They're defeated, LeBron and Kyrie are gonna turn on each other and compete over possessions. This'll probably be the game JR loses his cool and gets a flagrant.

Not that I'm a big bettor, but I could see this one going either way. The Cavs will be at home and you'd expect that if they're going to win any game this would be the one. But as you said, GSW is a scary match-up here. It's scary enough that it could trump all the home court, trend advantages that should point to a home team win tonight.

Love being out shouldn't bother Cavs' fans b/c other than hurting depth he's not a big plus against teams with so many offensive weapons and/or P/R adept teams.

LOL exactly. You couldn't come up with a single example of any Heat fan trashing Lebron's game despite your claim that there were "tons of examples". The most you had was Heat fans saying that the Cavs didn't have much of a chance against the West. And obviously, that wasn't a criticism of Lebron beyond him being incapable of carrying a team by himself (like every other player ever). All you said was use the search function. And I did and found nothing. So yeah, all your alleged slights against Lebron by supposedly bitter Heat fans here were imagined.

    Reverse Jinx attempt?

Will say this: How come nobody ever mentions that Kyrie might be THE PROBLEM? I absolutely despise his game, and have said so many times. He is a combo guard starting at PG with a high usage. That is almost always a recipe for big numbers and a losing team. The "losing team" part, Bron takes care of. That won;t happen with him around...But I feel as if Kyrie is a losing player.

No it wouldn't. There's a big difference between saying, "wouldn't it be great if we could end up playing together in a few years", but not taking any less or giving up anything and actually taking a lower contract now on the hope that a foreign company that was just starting to get into the sponsorship game would give him a big sponsorship contract two years down the line. Reality is that all the players did was talk dreams and hypotheticals. Every player in the league has conversations like that and has since FA existed. 99.9% of the time it doesn't happen b/c too much is unknown and too much can change. It didn't become anything they actually believed would/could happen until Riley sold them on it and explained what each would have to give up. At that point it became a real possibility. Before that it was just another incredibly unlikely event that almost never happened.

I heard a stat that whomever Kyrie is guarding is shooting something like 78%.

I never really noticed just how blah Kyrie's numbers were. By PER, LeBron traded the 36th and 38th best players for the 40th and 49th. There are certain things both Wade and Bosh do, like play defense, that aren't adequately captured in PER either. Throw in Whiteside, an offensive game for Winslow, and another year for Richardson and you'd have a good stew going. Heat in 5.

Apparently someone on The Ringer said he isn't even a top 50 player, so I think it's out there. For whatever reason people have decided that Kevin Love is the worst player in the NBA and it has provided Kyrie with a pass.

I'm more of a Love fan than Kyrie. I hate Kyrie's game even tho I think he's good - but if he's not scoring he just doesn't bring much else. Love provides some gravity, rebounding, passing - and while his defense is awful there seems to be some effort / understanding of where he's supposed to be. Kyrie just seems oblivious.

And Kyrie has a 43% TS% and 14% AST% on 30% USG while playing awful defense in this series. Cavs just aren't getting anything from the guys they need something from.

And no that wasn't a reverse jinx attempt. The Cavs have wilted every time GS has pushed them even a little. Cavs might jump out to a big lead tonight, but I don't think they can absorb blows the way OKC did. They put their heads down QUICK.

(And I hate this type of analysis, but it's true.)

Interesting. Logic would say a big, or maybe a shooter. I wonder if it's Sheldon McClellan, though. This is a good player that just isn't getting any respect from talent elevators. He was the best player on a very good Miami team, and I think he's even better than his numbers suggest because he was a very unselfish player. He has just about everything you're looking for in a wing with the exception of great height, and you would think the Heat have gotten ample opportunity to see him play seeing as he's local.

This is true. In this series, whoever Kyrie is on the ball on, is shooting 78%.

Think we could convert him to PG? Richardson is 6'6" and could probably play SG, no?

I'm not sure he'd be any more effective handling the ball than Richardson is. I actually think he brings a lot of similarities to Richardson, honestly, although he might be a smarter basketball player.

But with LeBron out there handling the ball, you can get away with it probably :shifty:

Tyronn is ******ed... Richard Jefferson is not Battier and never will be...

Btw, i loved that the whole crowd sang the star spangled banner instead of just the lone designated singer. Thats just first class. We need that more than these botched attempts by most singers even if the fans are reading the lyrics off the screen.

Cleveland coming out balling, and Smith is still ice cold. GSW making a lot of mistakes and Kyrie regressing to his usual offensive ability.

Golden State does this a lot. They played like pansies.

Have done it for 4 consecutive game 3's. No physicality, poor screens, piss poor execution and pathetic ball security/ passing.

It was a disrespectful performance and part of the reason I anticipated this outcome. I do however, expect a close game 4 and am hoping for a over-compensation on the line.
