Riley kept that whining in check here.. Its no coincidence he got a little bit unprofessional after he left.
If someone offers Whiteside the absolute max do you want to match that? Do you think he's a max deal player? I didn't think Deandre was but apparently multiple teams did. I think if the Heat want to keep Whiteside they might have to give him a max deal, is he worth it?
We can actually match without having to go to the max due to no state income tax and salary cap rules allowing the raises in years 2 and beyond to be higher. And I believe he'd be worth that.
Of course he is. and they will. You don't lose an asset over money. if he doesn't work out, you trade him.
Bradley Beal is going to get a max contract... Whiteside is a top 3 player in his position and is a superstar.. He is definitely worth the max
You can't keep creating those incidents then be shocked they come back to bite you. He deserved a flagrant, he purposely took his hand and swung at his manhood. with his reputation the argument ends there. That being said, anyone would be naive to believe the prospect of extending the finals didn't come in to play. Just as their officiating, the league office has zero consistency in how they approach things.
Pretty much everybody agrees that this one incident wasn't deserving of a flagrant, but that he got a flagrant b/c of his history. And nobody is arguing that his history didn't warrant the suspension (including me). But anybody claiming that this one event in isolation was flagrant is certainly in the minority and probably biased.
you really really really don't get it. What he said was 100% true, and part of the reason LeBron left. He is not about that one message, having a boss that sets the direction life.
Another thing LeBron forgot to take with him to Cleveland..... a guy to stick up for him and take care of his dirty work like UD, Bird, and even Juwan Howard who went looking for Lance Stephenson after a game to fight.
I think you are very fair in your assessments, so this is a legitimate question. If that's the case, why should Delly get the benefit of the doubt when he slaps Iggy in the balls? Delly can only get the benefit of the doubt so many times.
Oh ok. But yeah...That Heat "Culture" people talk about..it absolutely exists. But yeah, LeBron is as good a professional as there is in sports.
Forget it. Monty McCutchen is the Ref tonight. .417% win pct. for home teams in the playoffs. so no serious play. Just a little fun with GSW -11.5, Steph over 29.5 pts / Bron over 30.5 pts. -110 and Igoudala -200 on at least 1 made 3 pter,
Dubs are 3-2 with Monty at home...42-1 without overall. the inside the game numbers are skewed the same.... at home: 2-1 with, 35-0 without. So screw this guy, I'm playing props.
I hope you guys took LeBron on that over. The last thing he wants is to look like he gave up in an elimination game. Sent from my SM-J500M using Tapatalk
Cavs faces in the pregame tell you how this is going to go. God I wish I was still a walk downstairs to a sports book.
While the Warriors are a team, Cleveland is best described as an ensemble or a hodgepodge. An all time great, two stat sheet stuffers, JR Stackhouse and the gang. LeBron's greatness has historically been stifled by teams. SAS, GSW, DAL. Sent from my SM-J500M using Tapatalk
I know they sucked, but everyone went bananas from beyond the arc. Barea was also a difference maker. Sent from my SM-J500M using Tapatalk
We choked that series away. No joke or pride in that comment. They played great stretches of defense though and like you said Dirk + three point shooters were on fire at times. They definitely played as a team that series even if they werent a great team overall. I mean they were still the last standing.
Incase anyone was wondering? Lebron is about 10x better than anyone on the court. He will never win a title in that cursed town, but I respect a man for doing all HE can.
I took over 52 1/2 and then i placed a live bet at the 9:00 min mark of the first quarter of over 205.5.. Glad i did.. Couldnt pick a side on the spread
