Bogut with what looks like a hyper extended knee.. But could be worse

Damn, that sucks for Bogut. Warriors don't need to close it out tonight, but it's in their best interest. I think they go Ezeli for the bulk of the remaining 5 minutes when LeBron isn't at 5. They really need that rim protection against LeBron and Irving driving.

Any ref conspiracy theories should be put to bed with that series of bad calls regardless of who wins.

Yeah, I'm a Wizards fan, I don't know who we are bidding against to be even thinking about giving Beal a Max Deal. I don't know about Whiteside, I mean you're talking about a guy who hasn't been an all star and was out of the league a few years ago getting a max deal? Meh, don't know about that.

Literally every human being was no-one before they were someone. You pay players based on the impact they have on the court for your team not for what impact they had in the past or where they came from. Only past injuries really matter compared to current play.

Not sure if serious. Porzingus is a player you build around. Showed something, NBA conditioning and offseason will do him good come next year.

Looks like Green will have to prostate himself in front of his teammates after tonight. Moral of the story: Regulation balls only.

Yea get ready for 48 more minutes of basketball. Cleveland isnt going to choke this away. If im Tyronn Lue im putting in Mozgov for the sole purpose of laying some hard fouls. Get under GSW skin some more and make them a little bit more bruised for next game

Yeah sure, but when you were literally out of the league a couple of years back strictly for being a knucklehead its got to give you pause. I mean if Dion Jordan had a big year this season I wouldn't want to give him a JJ Watt contract, he's a huge risk.

Biggest win for me tonight is that I'm not in Vegas anymore....0-3 betting. Good thing I have a pre game limit or I would've paid for someone's backpage addiction

Dirk really DIDN't go bananas. He was mediocre in that series. it was Bron who failed to show up.

Kyrie had the best offensive game in a finals since Wade in 06'. he was SPECTACULAR. I was in awe of how good he was offensively. THAT is what hot LOOKS LIKE.

Did ok in the props. Hit the Iggy Three bet, Hit the Lebron over 30.5, missed the Steph over 29.5 and missed the -11.5 bonanza. Ended up... UP the juice...but hey, better than losing money.

    NOW..it gets serious.

Cavs should be favs in game 6. I have an easy middle to hit here. POUND the Dubs as a underdog in game 6, and buy a Cavs in 7 bet at +600 or so for half the bet...I can't lose. Caught a middle.

Best case of course is a Dubs win in 6. If it goes 7, then I have to pound the Dubs money line for 75% of the stake to catch a 25% win of the entire finals stake.

That's a lot of money to bet to guarantee a $250 winner....but if the Dubs win in 6...I approach 2k for the Finals alone, which puts me up around 2k for the entire playoffs! Rough year for me, I usually murder the playoffs for at least 3k.

I DO NEED the Cavs to be favored in game 6 though for any of this to matter. If not..I am left with my original 1.2k or $0.00 bet. Then of course, I am betting with my money again in game 7 if there is one.

Before it was just a dream..now it is a reality. Vegas is popping up with Dubs on the moneyline for gm 6 at +120.

BOVADA however, has pulled the game till tomorrow. Can;t wait to see their shenanigans.

How in the world are Cavs favorites for game 6? Green was out, Bogut got hurt, and it took historically great performances from Kyrie and LeBron to win.

Cavs -2 is about right. GS has been shaky on the road this year and pissed off Lebron has emerged. Kyrie won't go off like that again, but the supporting cast won't disappear like that again (right?).

No matter how much you hate the Cavs, seeing a game 7 in the NBA finals is historic. As a Hear or Knicks fan, how is that not perfect?

I'd love to see this go to 7, but I certainly wouldn't be betting any money on the Cavs winning game 6 considering how game 4 went, and what it took to win game 5.

Indeed Cleveland would be the 3rd team in Finals history to be down 3-1 and even get it to a G7 and the first team to win it from down 3-1. I hope they do it. In order for that to happen Love will have to show up at some point and Tristan will have to learn how to shoot a free throw or be benched for someone who can (Mozgov).

I get that stance but because of the lack of true centers and the fact hes still developing, someone will give him the max deal. Youre not incorrect to insinuate there is a lot of risk there, particularly if he is leaving a stable environment and well run organization like Miami. If anyone other then Miami gives Whiteside a huge deal they could be sorry. But they also have to take that chance because you can count the stud centers on one hand...Boogie, AD, Brook Lopez, M Gasol, and Whiteside (Bosh is a PF if youre putting Miami's best 5 out there). There are some up and coming players like Valancius on Toronto, Gobert on Utah, and Okafor/Noel but Id have to put Whiteside in the top 5 C's I think. Hes better then a guy like DeAndre Jordan because hes got a better offensive game and a similar defensive one...plus he can shoot FT.

Whoever gives Beal a max deal....is more likely to be kicking themselves. Hes undersized, doesnt defend well, and frequently hurt. Washington would be better off trading him even if it meant they take a step back and dont hamstring themselves with a silly contract like that.

That and Dallas shot exceptionally well from 3. Barea, Kidd and every other Dallas player kept hitting backbreaking 3's.

The only way a Beal max deal makes sense for Washington is if Durant wants to sign. So yeah, we are better off trading him lol.

I get the notion that Whiteside is worth the risk and really if you are asking me whether i give DeAndre a max deal or Whiteside, its Whiteside 100/100. DeAndre is not a max player. Whiteside could be and you're right, Miami has the leadership and structure to handle a headcase.

Yes. That series was essentially, Bosh ...nice and steady..Wade going nuts...and an occasional role player showing up for miami. Bron had a very strange set of 4th quarters in that series that probably cost the Heat that title.

I was shocked Kerr went to hacking Tristan. He was obviously making an effort to keep guys fresh (I think he played 11 guys in the first quarter?) but then gave LeBron and Kyrie the chance to catch their breath standing around for free throws. I thought we were heading towards the Cavs running out of gas like in game 4.

Yes....Cavs had a TON go right and Golden State had a TON go wrong for the Cavs to win game 5...

namely, Bron went back in a time machine and Kyrie summoned 06' Wade. Meanwhile, Golden State actually missed 18 wide open Three point shots. Shot 14-43. That alone is the game.

But Golden State had issues with their perimeter defense, that Cavs exploited. Will Draymond fix that by himself by being a big that can switch? I think so, but they are gonna have to prove it in Cleveland.

If you noticed, Varejao, Bogut, and Ezeli were a MESS on switches and got abused by Bron and Kyrie...and even JR put in a couple....Draymond fixes that by himself.

Gonna be a fun game 6, but we are being handed a gift with this line. There is a middle to be had by ALL here.

I do agree that Whiteside is a far greater risk for another organization than he is for Miami. He's a bit of a volatile personality and it's taken a long time for him to mature and learn to trust his coach and team mates. You put him somewhere else and there's a far greater chance of that volatile side resurfacing. While I'm sure he'll get max offers from other teams, if I were a fan of most other teams (the Spurs would probably be okay), I'm not sure I'd want my team making that offer.

Exactly. I feel like a handful of teams should be comfortable offering a max...the usual characters like SAS (who doesn't have the cap to do so I don't think), up and coming teams like Boston or Charlotte, or a team like the Knicks that emphasizes a similar skillset in terms of executing fundamentals (could always move Ro Lo for guard help).
