Theres one way, Westbrook does exactly what Dragic did to the Suns and kill his trade value by saying he will refuse to sign with certain teams and list us as one of his choices. Its funny last year everyone was saying how bad Dragic's contract is. Considering his talent and the way contracts are being handed this offseason, his contract is nice. There is rumors that multiple teams are interested in dragic should he become available if durant signs here. This year hes due 15.9, and it raises about 1.1 until 2020. If he was a free agent this year he would have easily got bradley beals deal.
"So help me god I'll go Pat. I really will. I'm walking out. If I step outside this is over! I'm serious!" There won't be any meeting. After KD officially says no we'll sign him. Hopefully it's s multi year deal so we don't have to have another off season of counting the money "owed" to him
Nuggets and Bucks is Wade's leverage. If he chooses to move to either of those cities, then good for him. Stay firm 3 years 45 million Riley

Luol deng's message to the Heat and Heat fans https://instagram.com/p/BHbDjpXj0vY/ The guy is first class. Like I said, our reputation will remain strong with or without Wade.
Since the Durantstakes are still going on and all it's hard to pay attention to Heat Summer League but I really like Rodney McGruder a lot. The real story out of SL is probably how much Justise Winslow and Josh Richardon look like a cut above. Those two were playing heavy minutes deep into the NBA playoffs a few months ago and they look it against the Clippers in the first game. I don't know if those two will play again. But other than that, I really like McGruder. I love his three point shot. In D-League he shot like 38-39% and just looking at his shot, you can see why he's good from downtown. Reminds me a bit of Ray Allen's mechanics. He's 6'5" and 205 lbs, and seems strong enough to play forward. But really what I love about him is he seems so well-rounded. Good finisher at the rim, good defender, good passer, seems like a good feel. He's a guy I wouldn't want to let escape.
As a Texas Longhorns fan, it would of been a dream to sign KD, but now since that is close to over and unlikely, a piece of me would die if I saw Wade in another jersey. Sign him to a nice offer, try and keep a little if you can, there isnt anything better.then him unless you wanna try Waiters or J.R. Smith.
Wade to Milwaukee does not pass the laugh your *** off test. His Wife's Ex BF is Jason Kidd. I'm sure Wade wants his wife's ex bf as his boss. LOL.
Briante Weber has also been playing extremely well. I wouldn't count him out taking TJ's roster spot.
They like Weber a lot and had him on roster last year so he's a good bet for a roster spot. We will see on him tho. He's so tiny and I don't know how good a scorer he can be. I may like McGruder more. No doubt Briante is king of the steal tho.
Btw Durant supposed to announce his decision by an article he's writing for players tribune this morning. That to me sounds like a "stay" article espousing the virtues of staying with one team your whole career etc.
Who knows? I think if he was staying it would've leaked by now. And impressive work by KD to not let this leak. Haralabob came the closest to a definitive statement and that may have just been trolling For the Heat, the focus now has to be taking care of Wade but in a way that gives you maximum Westbrook flexibility next year. I also think he could be a deadline candidate if KD leaves
Adam Schefter Is trying his hardest to become an NBA insider but is just saying things that seem kind of obvious
An article makes me think of a "thank you" and an explanation as to why you're leaving. Either one is possible, but you need to say less if you stay and choose the place most people saw as the odds on favorite and 90% likeliest spot going into this.
Not an article, a video. Durant to Boston, we'll see if true. http://sports.yahoo.com/video/durants-decision-kd-join-horford-052018453.html?soc_src=default
They confirmed on their twitter that it's hypothetical. I assume they made one for each team involved.
The only way Boston makes sense is if there's more to the Horford/Durant relationship than any of us know.
Lol @ The Celtics, Tom Brady, Curt Schilling and whatever other desperate bean eating freak who thought KD signing there was just a formality. Hope you enjoy that useless KD Celtic Jersey, Edelmen you moron.
Wow. You thought the big 3 in Miami was a soap opera. This is going to be crazy to watch. It's a 1 + 1, though, so we'll do this all again next year except it will be 100 times crazier because of the other players who will be FAs.
Well, now that that's over let's see what Riley can do. How can we re-sign Wade, and add a couple pieces while preserving room for next year? I'm sure Riley will figure it out.
Every team in the league besides GS lost out on Durant, can't blame Boston for trying and pulling out all the stops.
