Lmao he took 2 years 47 million. I guess he really wanted out of Miami. Wow im shocked at that number.
Jimmy should've traded Marino in 1997. He hung on to an aging, washed up quarterback and it ****ed my Dolphins. This could've gone in a similar direction.
2 years $47m, which after tax is very close to what he would have gotten here. Yeah, Wade really made it very hard for me to feel bad about this. Good luck to him, and the Heat move forward. Thank you Dwyane for making this easier to deal with with your behavior.
Yeah those illinois taxes hit hard, its basically a 2 year 40 million deal here... I guess he really wants to be closer to Siovaughn, that psycho has been doing internet talk shows on a monthly basis to talk about domestic abuse she has suffered, sex parties, stds and etc from Wade lol
So he took practically the same deal that we offered here and upset him so greatly. That hurts. LeBron won, that petty jerk.
We have 19 million to spend, we have Tradeable assets. We can offer a deal to Tyler that isnt backloaded like the one from the Nets, or we can let it roll over to next. We can give Haslem a raise again.
I'm dying to know what happened behind the scenes here. Why would he leave Miami and one of his best friends for the same money on a team that's not a contender?
The Bulls are in talks to send Mike Dunleavy to the Cavs, sources told ESPN Sadly it appears wade turned into Lebrons *****. This is so ****ing petty its unbelievable i figured if he was going to leave he would at least get 60 mil or some bs he literally took the same contract to leave.
Feel exactly the same. I was almost rooting for this, but it's pretty surreal. Probably best for both sides, but it still hurts.
Well how the hell did he get so upset at the FO? This has come out of nowhere. It's not like we sucked last year, we were on the cusp of the ecf without a star player. Worst moment in Miami sports for me here bar none.
I just cant wrap my head around the fact that he was so adamant about a 3rd year. about how he felt so disrespected about 2/40, just to turn around and take 3.5 million more a year, not counting the state tax. "he's home"? garbage man, straight garbage.
Exactly as least it's not the Knicks or Cavs. Good on Riley for staying firm. Hate to see Wade in a Bulls uniform but the Heat are not doing what the Lakers did for Kobe.
All right Twitter where are the pictures of people burning wade's jersey. That is what people do now right?
Theyre looking for a vintage Lakers' Riley jersey to burn instead, but it's not his fault. He's got a job to do.
Lets be honest, HE is the main reason Lebron came to Miami....HE sacrificed the most to make that happen allowing the Heat to win 2 more championships and become the buzz of S. Florida. All indications were that Riley was going to "take care" of Wade for these things and when the time came? They disrespected him it seems. May be best thing long term because they weren't going to really challenge the Cavs anytime soon anyways. We now get a chance to see how good Riley really is.
This hurts. I can see some of his side, but I side with the team on this one. Money and ego over all. Will be hard to root for him right now. Hopefully he shows some class tomorrow when he announces this on national TV. On the plus, this spells the end of LeBron's reach into this team. And financially we're better going forward. But this is really bad for us in the immediate term. Wonder what happens with Haslem now. - sent via Tapatalk -
Get out of here with that crap. Riley's resume is proven and had a huge part of 2010 and 2004 when he brought Shaq here. Not to mention all the pieces that came with both those championship contending teams. Oh wait, I'm talking to the guy that says Griffin is the best GM in the league. Okay
I have no loyalty to ANY player in any sport. You are either on my team and want to be...or GTFO. If he leaves good riddance.
Whats weird is i felt worse when Lebron left and dwade is my favorite player. But i cannot root for anyone but the heat, so see ya, be careful in Chiraq.
Riley still looking for that whale with russ assumed to be traded? Is this years draft class elite? I need a silver lining.
All it would really mean is we start rebuilding the team 1-2 years earlier and we have good pieces. No-one is beating GSW for quite a while with Durant. Everyone may as well forfeit the season anyway.
They offered a 34, 35, and 36 year old player $60M. That's exactly what he wanted last year when he felt "disrespected". They offered him all the money they had left. How is that disrespectful?
We weren't winning a championship with Wade or without him. The ultimate results didn't change an iota tonight Are we a 7th or 8th seed instead of a 2 or 3? Probably. But what's the difference?
This year's draft class is expected to be one of the best in recent memory. The FA class is going to be unprecedentedly good. There is certainly a silver lining here.
Anyone see this? https://twitter.com/youngwhiteside/status/750875480765698048?s=01 Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
I was mocking the pathetic nut hugging of Riley that goes on around here. He's good, but you guy's overrate the HELL out of him around here. LeBron has a way of making everyone look better from teammates to front office personnel. But thats just MY take on it that you guys will obviously disagree with. If he is as good as you guys think? You will be contenders again soon.
**** it, let's get Westbrook. Do it Riley. Let's reload and retake this league. **** the Warriors, **** the Cavs, **** the Knicks, **** the Bulls. We'll be back stronger. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
Hey man, thats a better question for Wade not me. Hopefully Sect has some non bias perspective on this from the inside. Something definitely didn't go right with this.
Glad it could all work out for LeBron. Wade stabs Riley, Chicago makes room by sending Dunleavy to Cleveland to replace JR Smith. - sent via Tapatalk -
LeBron watches Godfather so much, he IS Fredo. Makes me sick, ALMOST makes me regret those glorious 4 years.
