Knife-wielding man kills U.S. coach's father-in-law, injures wife

Freaking awful.

 

Absolutely horrible to hear. Definitely a black eye in the Chinese authorities claims that the Olympics will be 100% safe and incident-free. And it's only Day 1.

Thats awful... Sad news indeed for the games. Especially since its day 1.. way to go China. Good job protecting the millions that will flock there to check out the games...

what a terrible world we seem to live in.

 

Not sure we can give China too much crap for this. Is isnt like the Olympics were completely peaceful when held in the U.S...

 

Just when you tihnk it really can't get worst it always does.

 

in a time of world unity something like this happens....i guess officials were weary with good cause about this being in China.....

 

I guess they could have been as peaceful as the Atlanta olympics and just been bombed instead...
