Add Jerry Franklin and Danny Lansanah who are also being looked at for possible LB depth.

Spikes does bring a size and physicality that the we don't have at LB. Just a matter of whether he is still versatile enough to even put on the field.

Always liked him, he can play. New England's defense wasn't quite the same without him imo. And yeah our LBs...leave something to be desired.

If he's in good shape and can still play, why not? We need depth, and we need a guy like him up the middle. I wouldn't be against it, that's for sure.

Sounds like it will be Lansanah, not Spikes.
More Versatile, albeit a little older.

if this offense rolls, we could play with journeymen

He is a thumper but, Spikes is a casualty waiting to happen on passing downs.

Rachel pretty much expressed my view .He is situational player . I dont know if we have room for a situational player on this roster.
