Do we go after one or both? Surely both are better than what we have.

    Thoughts?

Tulloch's a real possibility. I'd stay tuned to see if something develops there. He fits the bill and he's 31 so it's an obvious possibility. He was the guy in Detroit behind Suh. As far as I know, we're trying to replicate that down here so despite the current wear and tear, I think it might be the responsible thing to do. I think there's a sense that Kiko's out of position playing in the middle and out to be outside anyway. Whether the team has the guts to pull off a move like that this late is unclear.

It's worth pointing out that so far Misi and Jenkins don't look very good. Jenkins is slow and Misi is nowhere to be found in the action so it's not a bad thing to think maybe Tulloch pushes one of those guys off the field. It's not like you'd be bringing in a star but it wouldn't be like you're subbing out a great player.

I wonder how healthy Lewis is. He only played 6 games last season with no starts. He had offseason hip surgery. Has only practiced one day this training camp for the Saints.

    Well away from here
Lewis is a straight line athlete. If they want that for the system they run, then go after him, but if they want someone to open their hips and move you'd have more luck elsewhere.

The answer at LB comes in next year's draft, and his name is Nick Deluca, a sure thing Hall Of Fame player.

I have never heard of Deluca, so I looked up to see if he was listed on any of the pre draft boards as a possible pick. No one has him listed at all. So I guess the Dolphins will probably be able to pick him up as an undrafted free agent once the draft is over.

He will likely just be lucky to be on an NFL roster in training camp next year. As far as him being a sure thing as a future HOF player, that would be a huge surprise to everyone but you.

The thing that gets me is we could have easily afforded him. He has experience in the Wide 9 and did very well in it.
