what is hilarious is you don't even understand the word YOU used. IT is where a teacher asks questions so the student will learn. I was the one asking the questions, OMG!!!!!!!!!! hilarious.
Keeps getting better. Now evidently I don't know what Socratic means. What, I used the word by accident? Yes you were play acting your way through some Socratic fantasy whereby you thought you would teach me something through a series of Q&A, and I found it hilarious that you actually expected I would entertain your fancy. Then you just came right out and said you are the teacher and I am the student. Son, let's not.
I can't with this thread. We now have two people saying Tannehill should have thrown a better ball to Cameron. The ball is right in front of his frickin' face. There is a defender right behind him. If he throws it softer, the defender gets his hand in there. Cameron just flat out dropped it. Nothing else. If you are seriously saying it wasn't a good enough pass, you are either trolling, or simply hate Ryan Tannehill to the point where you are losing all credibility from the people reading this thread. Seriously, I just can't. This thread has turned me into a teenage white girl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Honestly when I posted that pic I thought they would take their L and go lick their wounds in a corner, but no, they actually managed to double down on the nonsense and really bunker down for the long fight. At this point, I kind of think they're doing a Dumb & Dumber shtick on all of us and the only thing left to figure out is who is Harry and who is Lloyd.
PFF gave RT a flawless grade for last week, better than even Dak Preskott. So why are we *****ing about Tannehill's play here and not addressing Doughty in this "Doughty love" thread. Doughty looks like he won't be making an NFL roster this year... So much love for Him though......
Speaking of which ..... man Dak looks so much better than I thought he would in the pros. I know it's preseason but, he comes off very comfortable and in-control.
Because ... it's not called Doughty Hate! Duh By the way, every time I scan the forum and see the title to this thread, Computer Love comes on in my head.
Sunshine, you're so off base you have no idea. But your line of thinking is entertaining, albeit wrong. I can say with a good deal of surety that he is not hiding; he is just being truthful in saying 'you don't matter enough'.
If anyone is debating the ball to Cameron in the end zone, then I think honestly if one thinks the pass can be out in a better place than where it was is simply off base IMHO. If the ball is higher then we'd be calling Tannehill out for getting his receiver decapitated. you must put the ball where it is. Better than average receivers will bring those in at a high rate. Cameron shat the bed on that play, as did other receivers during the game on good throws. Its on Cameron and it would be hard pressed to find a fault with the pass to him.
apparently you don't because the definition of the word is the teacher asks the questions in a way to get the student to learn.... i was the one asking the questions.Keep trying to twist your way out. there is a song out with the lyrics blah blah blah, that is what i am starting to hear from you often. I asked serious questions. How do you define athletic, and about throwing distance. Actually the question was for everyone, but you took it as an attack on you for some illogical reason. Others were able to responded to the athletic question. I guess people now are learning why they don't question anything you say, you can't man up.
Thank you for posting that. That is actually the comments people use to defend Tannehill, yet I am the hater. That is classic.
Go back and read the same post where I said Tannehill threw 2 beautiful passes. i think it is immature and ridiculous so many are so bent out of shape because 2 people say a pass was not perfect. Some people really need to take a look at their lives if they are getting upset over something like that. I am not saying you are one of them.
You posted still frame picture...... that doesnt show him running towards the sideline full speed his trying to twist his body to stay in bounds. You know if you post a still picture 2 seconds before that one he doesnt even catch the pass.
did you watch the game? likely not. Prescott led them to what 4 TD's? He clearly had the better game.
Wait. You are getting on a poster for not being supportive of player X, but then continue to call Doughty "trash" and saying he won't make a roster? Way to support your team man through and through...you certainly have NO AGENDA here at all. LOLOLOL
that was a good post, thank you. I think it should not have been thrown as hard, but I am certainly ok with what you feel about the pass. That is how discussions are supposed to go.
By the way, the pass to Cameron was on the money....I find it hard to blame anyone besides Cameron himself. I do however think its a stretch to consider Landry's play a "drop" more than simply a case of being a millisecond to early. anyone who has had to turn around and catch a football SHOULD know that is a very hard ball to catch in that situation. PS. This is not a slight at Ryan, football is a game of inches...he can't be faulted for putting the ball where it needed to be even if it was 0.2 seconds too early. It is more to help those who want to just claim it was a "drop" and not really understand WHY it was a drop. PSS. Ive said it numerous times...17 looked fantastic for three drives Friday...if thats the level he plays at this season? We are going to have a Dolphins offense that scores some points.
I just remembered what this thread reminds me of. It reminds me of the thread that started the whole Juan Huron thing! What we need right now is for it to be revealed that dolphin25 is a 17 year old who has never played football but has his resume out to a dozen teams applying to be a scout. No. That's not right. He needs to be asking us, on a message board, who he should talk to about applying to be a scout.
this reminds me of an immature, insecure man that is trying to round up friends to make him feel better about himself. While I much appreciate your supporting what I said all along about Doughty having talent, I think it best we just not respond to each other anymore. Somehow you got your feelings hurt and I did not mean to be a bully and hurt your feelings.
Booooooo. Hisss. I'd love to talk about Doughty more when we have something else to digest this Thursday. Hopefully he won't sh-t the bed like he did last Friday. That was really disappointing because I have high hopes for him.
I'm going to attend Thursdays game because it's here in Orlando. Game 3 of the pre-saeson should have more starters playing longer too. I wouldn't mind them letting Moore sit the entire game because we know what he can do (or not) already.
Matt Moore has a pretty bad concussion. He's not going to play and we're lucky if he's available by Week 1 of the regular season. They want to give Ryan Tannehill a lot of time to get his offense going in this game but something that is almost as important to them is figuring out if, between Brandon Doughty and Zac Dysert, they have the arms they need in case Matt Moore can't go when the season starts and Ryan Tannehill gets dinged up in some mishap. Before Friday's game you would say they probably have confidence in Doughty to fill that primary backup role until Moore comes back. After Friday's game they don't have that confidence, and they're actually thinking about elevating Dysert above him. They're also thinking about signing a veteran quarterback, or possibly even trading for one.
Unfortunately he's relying on Thomas and Turner to protect him; which means he'll look like **** regardless. Asking anyone to perform behind those two is just asinine IMHO.
I wouldn't attempt to try that in these forums. Too many posters narratives will change if Doughty plays very well and Ryan "sh-ts the bed" as you put it. All of a sudden pre season won't mean crap and naturally would come with many more excuses for why one played bad and the other did not.
No way! Every day I come to this message board, I just hope there would be something as amazing as that thread from FH. Hence, the Flipper's Finest reference. Juan may be gone from my signature, but he's not gone from my heart. Every Latino week in the NFL, Juan stays in my head. I say a little prayer hoping that one day he will return. And when he does return, he comes to ThePhins over FH. This more reminds me of the crazy, bat**** QB threads that WVDolphan would put together over at FH. The argument we had of him rationalizing that Daunte Culpepper was a June 1st cut, when he was released in the last week of July, because he bet he would never post again if he was a 6/1 cut. That guy...woof. Nothing worse.
