Im sure its more about him getting out of Philbin's doghouse and actually getting a shot. The kid has talent. Philbin probably thought his hair and tats meant he had too much personality.

 

I think they're just being conservative with the playcalling now. No reason to go all out.

that pass to pead was a bad Tanne play IMO. The far outside (left... or top of screen) WR was open past the sticks.
