I watched it. I thought Ryan was better, he threw at least 4 TD passes in that game a bunch of them were dropped. Tannehill was impressive in that game. If you want to argue that Prescott being a rookie could factor into it thats fine but Tannehill was great in that game.

Wait.. shouright's not in this thread or? At least no one sounds like him.

He has this very distinctive style of (vastly) overemphasizing stats in whatever argument he's in. I'm actually surprised he hasn't been around because he was damn persistent and seemed fairly immune to criticism.

Or maybe he just doesn't know how use a proxy IP address.

Well, given his issues, he might have at least two more personalities left to assign usernames to.

There's still a couple months before the year runs out.

Prescott finished the night 12 of 15 for 199 yards, two TDs and a perfect QB rating — plus two rushing TDs for good measure.

If you think Tannehill was better that is cool.

I would that's certainly fair. While Shou and I had our squabbles, he did bring some truth to it, albeit in a fog of passive aggressive mannerisms.

FWIW, rewatching the Cameron drop from the back of the endzone angle showed that Cameron had beaten the DB inside and had both hands raised as he crossed the goal line. The ball hits him directly in the hands at just above shoulder level. As he's bringing the ball down to secure it, the DB, #31, grips his left shoulder and arm and tears at it. Cameron releases his left hand from the ball and loses the handle on it. He attempts to re-grip it with both hands but has dropped it at that point. The pass was perfectly thrown though. The velocity and placement were dead on from that angle.

Also, I don't know of a single person who doesn't like Doughty, but get real. He's got a long way to go.

You're G$^#^# damn right there is! Haha...I think most people know I'm not a thill Homer but to criticize the Cameron or Stills pass is just asinine. Cameron has to catch that ball and Stills could've and should've stayed in bounds for a td. Thill played a great game and should've ended up with 3 tds and maybe 3 in completions. As for dolphIn25 I've never strongly disagreed with you that I can remember but your conversation with CK made you look pretty clueless bud. And you know I usually agree with you when it comes to thill but your love for Doughty is clogging your common sense.

what conversation are you talking about exactly? I don't recall having a conversation with him. I had a conversation with LI phinfan where we disagreed with on what was seen.

Again before you attack me, perhaps PERHAPS you should the entire thing where I also mentioned that Tannehill had some beautiful throws. IF you feel Tannehill was perfect in the game, that is ok. I won't attack you for your thoughts.

, Not busting your chops. At this point, do you think we can stash Doughty on the PS? Not a lot of tape on Doughty so far, Love his potential and make up. It would be disappointing to see him get cut or go somewhere else. Dysert looks like he leapfrogged him last night and looked very capable. BTW, my son is a BIGGER Doughty fan than you if you can believe that!

I understand. I am huge fan for many reasons, I am emotionally attached. I want him to start. I want every throw he throws to be a TD. With that being said, I really don't know at this point. I no longer see him making the 53. My hope for him now is the practice squad at this point. The guy I am seeing on the field is not the guy I've seen the past 2 and a half years. I wish he had gotten a chance to play starting the second half last night. I feel like he would have had a better opportunity to do well. Even when the results have not been positive, he is still completing passes.

Yeah, this shouldn't be surprising. It's called transitioning from college football to the NFL, there's an adjustment period... not everyone is going to be a Russell Wilson. This is especially true for a guy who doesn't exactly have outstanding physical tools be it athleticism or arm strength, it's going to be even more difficult for him. He's going to have to outwork everyone in order to become a starter in this league, IMO.

Now I guess you're starting to realize your whole "He's already better than Tannehill" stuff was way off base.

Sometimes they just need a little more time. Tyrod Taylor for example. If he's any good, he'll show it. If not, he'll fall by the wayside.

He had 6 snaps the other night. 3 of them were runs. All of the runs were for loses. on the 3 passes he had he completed 2 while being hit on 2 of the passes. He was hit right at 2 seconds after getting the ball ( this is not an official time) I am not sure what more he could have done. 6 snaps is not a lot to show your skills. so it was not as bad as I thought.

People claim Thill should overcome his handcuffs and succeed. Then those same people want to blame Doughty's troubles on......the same handcuffs Thill had, except he may even be allowed to audible.

Sooooooooooo, about how that interior pressure causes problems for QBs.......

Umm, the excuses made for him were that he only got 6 snaps. He didn't blame Oline, coaching, playcall, nothing. He said there was only 6 snaps.

You're looking for something that isn't there.

Weak minded people point fingers. Accountability...

The good news is unlike his lackies, Ryan has taken responsibility for what he needs to improve on and may have done enough to make strides.

No quarterback who has to suffer Dallas Thomas in his lap on every pass play should be graded too harshly, and that certainly includes Doughty.
