And that is complete bull**** of Harrison.

Being white or black or any color, you should be able to talk about it.

But Its not. I d like to see these examples you speak of that differentiate a poor black mn and a poor white man. Basically both are mistreated by the police and their trigger happy actions.

Your a numbers guy, obviously the "more white people are killed by police than blacks" stats are debunked by the population...as is the " more white people commit crimes yet a lesser % is shot" but if you dig deeper..take those stats and put them up against %'s of violent crimes vs race killed by cops and I think then you get a better picture of the false pretense that blacks are somehow targets of police. Too many people lump in non violent crimes with the stats.

It is an imperfect storm of poorly trained cops and violent criminals of both races with guns. Its a problem but certainly not a black only problem. That is of course what the race baiting media would like you to believe though...helps the D's get more votes and somehow a mutant of a human being will have her corrupt *** in the White House.

    I say and I quote....we need a miracle.

No, it didn't. It went to further the discussion as to why some people go straight to the victim role when discussing race.

Then you played the 'card' card, which was meant to have one goal, shut down the discussion.

I wonder what the people arguing that racism isn't widespread and isn't a significant issue, actually think racism is?

Jews are God's chosen people. We gave a bunch of Zionists(fake Jews) Israel....God is not racist, but the "powers that be" god is.

Kaepernick only revealed his level of understanding. But good for him, I'd like to think I'd do the same under his circumstances.

Because for example minorities are less likely to have possession of their birth certificates, less likely to as another example to know the full names of both of their parents, less likely to already have an ID for driving purposes, less likely to own an automobile to facilitate driving far out of the way to an office to get their ID, etc.

Sure...but that is why him not standing for the anthem is pointless. The flag represents the country, not individual pockets of racist individuals.

Now, I live in rural New Hampshire, but there are plenty of DMVs relatively close to me. I see no reason why is unreasonable to expect individuals to show a driver's license at a polling place. Heck, you need to produce an ID to buy tobacco, alcohol, get into a rated R movie, ride an airplane, etc.

That is the problem. In a lot of places, they are not relatively close to them and they are open in small windows to make it very difficult to obtain a license.

They do not need tobacco, alcohol, R-Rated movies, ride an airplane to vote.

Is it different in other states? In NH, state offices are all open 9-5, or might be 8-4.

Obviously you don't need those things to vote. You need an ID for them. Is it racist to require an ID to buy alcohol?

Yes. In a few of the places where they enacted the laws, they then closed the DMVs in black neighborhoods or made them open once a month.

I am 38. I no longer need an ID to buy alcohol. And are you equating alcohol to voting?

Also, voter fraud via in person voting is such a small problem and a very ineffective way to commit voter fraud. It is like trying to solve a problem, that is not a problem.

I didn't play any card, you labeled as such as you do all time. You don't like differing opinions and you don't care to have discussions on race, you'd rather put labels on people. You're a prime example why race discussions in this country are not productive.

    Of course it matters.

Not knowing who your parents are is the fault of the parents. Not anything in the system and its hardly racist. How the hell is not having a BC due to race?

You dont need a Drivers License a State ID is the same damn thing... Things like public transportation exist..

None of it has anything to do with racism.

You labeled what I said as playing the "victim card" that is a card I have seen you play a lot.

You put a label on what I said. And now you are making a lot of judgements based and going straight into playing a victim. This is why race discussions will not work.

You absolutely still need an ID. You may not get asked for it, but if they ask you, and you don't have it, no alcohol for you.

And no, voting is far more important than buying alcohol. If it's not racist to require ID for that, it's not racist to require for voting.

Actually many stores are now carding people that look under 40 or places like Dollar General who card everyone.

So another talking point tossed aside.

That is faulty logic. You have to look for the reasons why people are asked for ID and what is the point.

You do not need an ID. A lot of people get around without it. Like the elderly.

It's irrelevant. What matters is that the people crafting the laws know it, and they craft the laws that way anyway, despite being unable to show any evidence of benefit from the law, which leads judges to believe that these laws are specifically crafted to keep an undesired demographic from voting.

    You said this:

You have done this for years and have used the term "victim card". You also have an MO of telling people what their MO is, just like you did now. You're not open minded to honest discussion, your goal is to shut down dissenting opinion. Always has been and THAT'S why race discussions will never work with you and many from the left.

Ah i see more then one of you tries this tactic.... Its not going to work..

Hint getting a Passport is much harder then getting an State ID. Requires more paperwork, more money and a longer time to get. Which would "impact" minorities more if you go by the defense that Voter ID is racist.

So basically what you are saying is that if you are consistent... Passports are racist .

People have the right to leave the country do they not?
