The only change is consider making is Eli over romo. As good as romo has been I bet they pull him early. Your opponent will probably not have that scenario with Peyton unless I'm mistaken and Denver has clinched the 2 seed.

Yeah I've been considering that and also swapping Alfred Morris for Jennings if Andre Williams doesn't play.

If Williams doesn't play Jennings is a go. If Williams does play, which I think he will, then I'd stay away from Jennings. Jacques's Rodgers is a player you may wanna add as a spot start since he's a much better pass protector then devonta freeman at this stage. My guess is he will see a decent amount of work with Jackson out. Also Jamal Charles is questionable so knile Davis is in play if he's available

Oops, put this in the wrong thread last time. Let's try this again...!

TE this week. Currently I'm rolling with Jimmy Graham, but not only has he been pretty disappointing thus far, they also have a tough match up in Carolina. My other option is Jordon Cameron. I wonder if we'll see a burst from the Dolphins this week following the coaching change (and a game against equally bad Tennessee) so I'm erring toward making a change. But dropping Graham.... I don't know. He can produce big time given an opportunity. Any thoughts?

I'd probably go with starting Graham became he's had good games before against Carolina. Plus Tennessee has a sneaky good D. Also benching graham sends a bad message if you try and trade him which you'd be doing based on name value

    Graham:
    6/51/1
    1/11/0
    7/83/1
    4/29/0
    3/30/0

    Cameron:
    4/73/0
    3/62/0
    3/16/0
    2/19/0

You gotta go with Graham imo..

Anyone else liking the Chiefs HB this Sunday? Just put up a 100 yard game, Charles is out, Davis will be backup. Facing Lions and Chiefs CANT throw the ball. Hmm. Thinking of picking him up on FanDuel

On a different note, I probably have the worst starting wrs ever for a 2nd place team with the 2nd most points for their league. After losing Keenan Allen and suffering massive underachiement from former 1000 yard wr Kendall Wright, I've secured a 2 seed with Tavon Austin, Sammy Watkins, and Devante Parker. Anyone have some deep wr options in case Rishard Matthews returns and relegates Parker to a WR3?

Keep in mind it's only a 10 team league but everyone good is taken....my emergency plan is Dorial Green Beckham but not sure how much I like that vs NE?

I run a 10 team league that allows for three keepers from the previous season. Yesterday was the deadline to set the keepers, and one of my friends went with an interesting strategy. He finished next to last for last season and didn't like his team very much, so after the other nine guys had sent in their keepers and he saw them, he chose not to make any at all, thinking that he liked the leftovers more than his own guys. So what will happen is that he gets the first three picks, plus the 5th, in our draft next week. I have to admit, it was a smart choice for him.

He hadn't picked any. Free to choose any three players from last year's roster. If I were in his shoes, I'd have kept Gronk, but this way he does get his pick of Rodgers or Wilson at QB, and he'll likely take Peterson at RB, and any one of a number of great WRs. Based on his previous team, which stunk, its a good move. He could come out with the best roster in the league.

It would depend on your league's scoring system, but I don't understand why so many people are so high on David Johnson. Beyond that though, I think you did well. The Eli/RT17 combo should put up a lot of yards and TDs, and you can ride the hot hand. I did the same with RT and Dalton last year. You should get a ton of catches from your wideouts. All of your RBs are pretty much in time shares though, so you can't ever really rely on them to go out and score points for you any given week. I think you'll likely explode for points one week, and struggle some others.

My own league drafts tonight, so wish me luck.

I like it. QB is very strong. RB is very sink or swim...If Charles stays healthy and If DJ continues the way he played after Chris Johnson got hurt that could be a monster combo. I like Duke a lot this year as well. WR could be a weak spot if Tates or Landrys stats fall but in PPR those two could just as eaily be gold. Sanders stats will unquestionably fall. I like Funchess as i think he could be Carolinas 1 and lead them in yards amongst pass catchers even with Benjamin back. Hogan always seems to have great camps...as a deep sleeper hes a lottery ticket. Kelce and Bailey are very solid.

Feeling pretty good about my draft, especially since teams were able to make three keepers, and I drafted next to last.

    QB Russel Wilson
    QB Ryan Tannehill
    QB Derek Carr

    RB Le'Veon Bell (Keeper)
    RB LeSean McCoy (Keeper)
RB LeGarrette Blount (I've cornered the market on RBs who's name starts with Le!)
    RB Carlos Hyde
    RB Arian Foster
    RB Spencer Ware

    WR AJ Green
    WR Jarvis Landry (Keeper)
    WR Josh Gordon
    WR DeVante Parker
WR Corey Coleman (There's a strong chance that I'll need to pick up other WRs off waivers as the season goes on)

    TE Greg Olsen
    TE Tyler Eifert

    LB NaVorro Bowman
    LB Chandler Jones
    LB Bobby Wagner

    DL Robert Quinn
    DL Oliver Vernon
    DL Cameron Wake

    DB Malcolm Jenkins
    DB Kam Chancellor

    K Mason Crosby

    My league starts: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 2 LB, 2 DL, 2 DB, 1 K

How many teams in it? Your offense is very strong but unless the sacks are weighed heavily your D players are average.

By the way, if you like leagues with D players...you should check out the league I created again this year. Ever field a full 11 man d? :)

Only 8 teams. I said 10 earlier, but I'd forgotten that I'd lost a few players. My scoring system is set up so that the very best passers are by far the most valuable players in the league, and Wilson is not yet one of those, though he should be pretty good. Typically, the best defensive players are worth as much as an average starter at WR or TE, so the league is certainly offense heavy, but the unpredictablilty of the defensive players is always a fun wild card. One week a guy might score 2 or 3 points, another he'll get 40. I give 1 point for a tackle, 5 for a sack, 5 for a INT, 5 for a FF, 5 for a FR, 3 for a pass deflection, 3 for a stuff, 6 for any TD, and 10 for a safety. I'm likely to be very light on INTs but I'll look for guys on the waiver wire too.

I will look at your league. There's a link?

Had one of my money league drafts last night.. I got extremely intoxicated and my draft strategy fell apart quickly. I'm not too sure how I expect my team to perform. I might have to make a trade or two.

    12 team league, 4th pick
1QB/2RB/2WR/2FLEX/1TE/DST/K PPR + Big Play Bonus.

    QB:
    Tannehill

    RB:
    Rashad Jennings
    Duke Johnson
    LeGarrette Blount
    Christine Michael
    Alfred Morris

    WR:
    DeAndre Hopkins
    Amari Cooper
    Jarvis LAndry
    Michael Floyd
    Donte Moncrief
    Kenny Stills

    TE:
    Antonio Gates
    Dwayne Allen

    DST:
    Chiefs

    K:
    Brandon McManus

I ended up going WR in my first 5 picks, My original plan was to take a top TE in there and a QB with my 6th pick but every round my targets were getting snagged before I got to them and I felt like I shouldn't reach for those positions until later, but I waited too long and almost everyone was taken. WR is definitely a strength we'll see how the rest of the team holds up.

    10 team no ppr, no flex, 3 wr/2 RB...had 1st overall pick

    QB: Brees/Stafford
    RB: Lacy/Jeremy Langford/Duke Johnson/Ryan Mathews
    WR: Antonio Brown/Sammy Watkins/Michael Floyd/Josh Gordon/Devante Parker
    TE: Jimmy Graham/Dwayne Allen
    K: Mason Crosby
    D: Pittsburgh

Definitely got some steals in there as I got Gordon and Parker in rounds 9 and 10. Brees in round 4. Graham in round 13 (I think a lot of people forgot about him because he was way down the list since he barely played last year)

I use PPR in my league as well. Its why I went with Bell and McCoy on my own team, with Foster and Bernard as backups, along with Hyde and Blount as bruisers. I just don't trust Johnson enough to say he's going to be one of the best in the league based off of a few games at the end of last season. We'll find out soon enough.

    QB
    Blake Bortles

    RB
    Todd Gurley
    Lamar Miller

I'll probably drop or trade one of the Tennessee WRs after or if a clear #1 emerges and Sanu was a late flyer who'll be traded or dropped for bye week TE, defense, kicker.

Thats a really, really good looking team, Rafael. I think Gurley & Miller should both be top 5 rushers, and one or both could see 2000 yards total. RT & Bortles could both be in the top 5 in passing yardage too, and you can mix and match at WR depending on matchups.

Looking for some advice on Jakeem Grant if anyone could be so kind. With Parker out and Hunter only just arrived he could be the 3 or 4 WR as well as a returner.

Anyone think it's worth picking him up and stashing in case he turns into something?

For what it's worth I'm in a very deep (18 team) league, so decent backups are hard to come by and anyone putting in a decent performance in week 1 will get scooped on waivers.

League is full PPR, with 10 yards/point for KR and PR.

Can't decide if I like him because of homer goggles or if he actually could be a decent performer.

18 teams is nuts! I don't know honestly. In a lot of leagues, Stills would be a smart pickup, but I imagine he's owned in one that deep.

    Thanks man.

My choices for dropping are two other WR flyers Ive got in Tajae Sharpe (TEN) or Will Fuller (HOU).

I like Fuller's team a bit better to pass the ball more, but if the hype train is to be believed Sharpe could end up as the WR1 in Tennessee.

Yea there is a lot of hype around trajae. Depends if you think he'll take the #1 targets away from Rishard Mathews. You know Houston passing game will go through Hopkins first.

Thatnks. I got Amari in the 3rd and Jarvis in the 5th. In the 4th round I Golden Tate, but later traded Tate and Hurns (got him late in the draft) for Allen Robinson and Marvin Jones Jr.
