Via Phill Perry of CSNNE.com, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was limited in yesterday’s practice with a hamstring issue. Gronkowski didn’t practice Sunday either, so being held out of parts of the fully padded practice is something to note in advance of this week’s game against the Cardinals. The Patriots covered themselves this offseason, signing veteran Martellus Bennett, but that’s not the same. “There’s only one Gronkowski, though,” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said. “There’s a bunch of other tight ends but there’s one Gronk. He’s a different animal when it comes to defending him.” The Patriots also have some questions on their offensive line, as left tackle Nate Solder and guards Jonathan Cooper and Shaq Mason were limited in practice as well. With the cheating bastards damaged early, a loss to the Cards and then us kicking their asses would be a great way for them to start the season. Their O line sounds like ours last year. Maybe Brady will be thankful he's not in the 1st 4 games.
We already have an idea of what New England looks like with an overly damaged Oline. Last 6 games of 2015 is a good representation IMO. They lost 4 out of 6 games to end the season. At least some of that was due to the Oline struggling to protect Brady. If Arizona wants to be taken seriously, they need to beat the Patriots at home.
don't be a butthead, you know what I mean. They lost by 34 points in the playoffs and looked terrible doing it with 7 turnovers. Everybody considers them a very good team, but they are not the best NFC team in my book.
