In the first half last night, the Cards didn't really look like they were ready. I think they thought, "No Brady, No Gronk, win!". I don't think you'll see that from our D. I hope our D can put some serious pressure on the young QB and not let him just sit back.

Not as worried about our D. We looked like we belonged on defense against Seattle.

It's the offense that's the problem. And NE looked good, so Gase needs to show he can fix this offense. I mean we did hire him for that.

I've expected an 0-2 start since the schedule came out. Starting 0-2 doesn't mean the season is lost and the sky is falling. I am definitely done doing the moral victory justification, we either win or we lose.
Looking at the schedule, there are (in my opinion) twelve winnable games for the taking (if we want them). That doesn't mean we can win twelve games, but after week two our schedule gets a bit easier for the next ten games and those games can go either way in my opinion.

The Patriots played really well in Arizona last night. I don't see anyway this team comes away with a win in Foxboro.

I also had us starting 0-2. Seattle and new England are two of the best teams in the NFL. I think we have a chNce to win but its not 50%. More like 20%. One in five chance. This game will give us a very good idea of where our secondary stands

I hope we are able to take away the screen pass and slant/drag routes because that is what the Pats run all day long.

I've been watching games since the early 90s, and we've been bad at stopping the screen pass and draw during that entire time. I've grown to detest both plays. Crossing my fingers.

I'm fine letting Jimmy try to beat us with his arm.. we can't let Blount get going like he did against the Cardinals.. Blount was the difference.

I agree, but Seattle was giving us a gift, and we refused to take it.

Its a winnable game, we have beaten tougher New england teams. But we are also the Dolphins, the games you think youre going to win you end up losing by 3 touchdowns

The only win between 2000 and now was 2008. But, that was also the only other time the game was in September, and the only other where Brady didn't play. This week sets up well.

Its a winnable game and i think the Dolphins will keep it close. Problem is we have an offense that cant pick up a 3rd down over 5 yards and half the time we would manage to complete a pass on 3rd and 5 and still be short lol.. if we had a semi aggressive qb and competent offense we would be 1-0 right now with a decent chance of being 2-0. But we have a glorified game manager and kenny i blow stills. Without Parker we dont have many weapons either. Landry is a solid slot guy, nothing more nothing less. Foster looked sharp and the oline protected well but without Parker we have very few playmakers and a QB way too happy to take the 2 yard completion.

Look, I hate the Patriots too. Living 45 minutes from the stadium and all these yahoos in my family makes life miserable. But come on, 15 years they've won the division. Yes, it's probably 90% them, but good lord the incompetence between Miami, NY and Buffalo has to have factored in too. I mean, while NE has maintained their level of play, Miami, NY and Buffalo have fumbled their way through 15 years of embarrassing football. The only time NE didn't win the division was because Brady got hurt and Miami invented a cooky, 1930's football offense and won the division due to a tie breaker. How is it possible that in that time frame NO ONE in the division has built anything to contend with them? They take other's trash and turn it into gold. How many players have the Dolphins discarded that turned into players for them? Ugh. Sigh.

**** all that Bull****. So sick of hearing Dolfans whimper and bleat about how good the Patriots are. Who cares how good the Patriots are. We owned their asses for decades... We play them tough almost every time we play them now. **** Billicheat... **** Brady and Gronk and every other Patriot. We can and will beat these ****ers... And if we don't.. At least show some balls as a Phin fan and go down believing in your team.. Not rolling over like a Retriever with your paws in the air going boo freaking who the Patriots are to good...

I think after a tough game all the way out on the other end of the country, we have a letdown and lose by two touchdowns.

If what you guys say about their Dline is true, then we should be able to sustain drives and let our defense rest.

Gronk is coming back from what? Pulled hammy, and we liken Parker to Yatil Green, smh.

Pats fan here and I come in peace! :P

So yeah looking at your team and frankly I think you guys are trending in the right direction. The DLine looks pretty damn sick and Gase seems like a pretty decent coach. Pretty big hard *** which I think your team needed frankly. I think you your team definitely can play spoiler a few times this year. Looking at both our teams I expect the Pats to win this week but it will be close. A lot of guys played really well on the Pats in that AZ game and I would not expect that same level every week. Also I look at your team last week and saw some pretty massive under proformances. No to take anything away from Seattle but frankly your team should have won that game.

So if you believe in the water seeks its level theory if the Pats played their A game (comparable to the talent they had at the time) and you played your D then if both teams go more to their average performances this could be really close.

When it comes to match ups it really is all our your DL vs OL. If the Pats don't let you abuse that too bad they should win. If your team completely dominates and forces Jimmy into multiple mistakes your team wins. Overall the Pats have the general advantage but this is where it can be made up so much of the game will be determined there.

agreed, but it looks like we might have a nasty defense and I don't care, garrapolo doesn't scare me, suh and Phillips are probably going to kill him on the field.

Seattles line is bad, so I hope we can create as much havoc with a competent one.

Pretty spot on analysis. You guys are good at mitigating strong dlines, though. Our offensive line is getting way better. You guys used to capitalize so much on causing disruption and turnovers due to our oline. I think that and the coaching improvement at least keeps it from being a runaway contest.

Parker's availability is still up in the air.
