Because calling people "The Hateful Eight" is having an intelligent discussion. Many thanks for leading by example!

Exactly. It's week one and we already have posters calling out others who disagree with them with gay insults. I understand this isn't club but there really need to be some lines drawn in the mains about what's acceptable. I mean this is the face of THEPHINS.

When jay Fiedler was our QB I hated him. When daunte Culpepper was our QB i hated him. I would've proudly wore the badge of hateful eight although the name probably should've been changed to hateful millions

Tossing a nickname into a post with actual substance in it is much different than just firing off an insult.

    Stop.

You'd argue incessantly for pages on end thru multiple threads if anyone accused you of hating while intoxicated (i.e. sans reasoning or logic).

For what it's worth...I didn't take "fluffer" to be a slur. And I like RT.

I knew about the porn women "fluffer's"...but I joke with my wife that I'm going to "have to "fluff" her to get her into the mood. And that's how I always took the term "fluffer"..a person who gets another "in the mood"....lol

    Lol, it never fails.

There are so many posters who've argued with me for pages and pages and threads and threads tell me I like to argue as if they don't.

Timing of thread has nothing to do with Seattle. This could've been posted 2 or 3 months in either direction.

And nobody is grading the QB. Rather, what's been pointed out is:

    (1) 29 of the 31 other NFL teams have options as legit as RT.
    (2) Cleveland and/or San Fran may bite.
    (3) RT's contract is a big roadblock
    (4) It may or may not be possible to change that.

So while I appreciate you pointing out the arguing in the Public Forum needs to stop you seem to have carelessly accused me of things I didn't say and thoughts I didn't think. That's kind of how needless QB arguments start.

At this point everyone has given their own 2 cents enough. Opinions are now a dime a dozen. We needs new evidence and we will have to wait on that to develop.

Huh? My post that you quoted wasn't insulting, nor was it attempting to have substance. I was referring back to post #30, where it had a ton of substance, as opposed to a post that said only "The Hateful Eight vs The Fluffer Five."

I don't agree with your assessment that 29 of the other 31 are as legit as Tannehill. For instance, I don't think the guy in Denver is as legit.

I wouldn't trade for anyone in the league now. No how, no way.

In the draft? Eh, I don't know. Haven't looked. Maybe DeShawn Watson? I'm a Clemson alum so I can be a Homer on that one. He may bust though. I'd just like to be able to root for a Clemson star since they all seem to go to Buffalo: Spiller, Watkins, Lawson, etc.

Have to look deeper than sheer stats.

The question is, who will be looking for QBs.

Denver most certainly will not when they have Seimian starting and a 1st rounder waiting in the wings. That's of course all while they just need the QB to manage the game. Hard to sell me on the idea they're going to be looking to trade for an expensive QB at all, let alone one that is not elite.

For Denver, the QB position is legit because they're getting what they need without giving picks for Tannehill and paying a ton of money thereafter.

In short, I'm not so blind as to miss the point you're making.

It's a bad idea, plain and simple. Call it whatever, it's a bad idea, and it's even worse as it has been one game.

You do realize you have no say in whether someone posts or what they do post, right? You know the whole freedom of speech thing.

And just as an aside, the very same can be said to you. If you don't like the responses you get, then don't post. It works both ways, and to suggest otherwise is rather narrow minded and a case of not seeing the forest for the trees.
