I think this is the most reasonable post yet.

Was it a harbinger, with RT actually becoming a better player? Or was it a combo of nothing left to lose and the Pats backing off?

I am troubled and amused at the same time. I've never seen a fan-base create a new concept to justify play. With RT, its "He played well enough to win. Again. But, we lost." Uh, ok. Maybe he needs to start leading the team to victory.

The good news is we have games coming up. We need to win Sunday in the worst way. If we lose Sunday, I think any chance of a winning season is lost and perhaps even looking at double digit losses. I don't see RT back here if we have double digit losses...AGAIN.

Can I tell you some things I would have liked different from him on earlier drives? Or just the last one? He did not play well AT ALL in the first half. It was very bad.

Meh...they were down to their third string rookie QB. If Garrapolo is still in there, likely MUCH different offense from them. I wouldnt get to excited. Lets actually win a game on Sunday. Go Fins.

After Seattles performance today, I don't think they are all that good on offense.

He's always a "deep threat" by definition....teams feared his speed and still do.

He is an asset but an asset that like many NFL players NEEDS things around him to be a certain way to succeed. The first year in Miami was frustrating for him, Ryan the fans..everyone. He simply was not used to blowing by defenders and not getting rewarded for it. In 2014 he worked with Ryan to form a pretty good QB/WR combo. They worked the intermediate well together and the red zone REALLY WELL.

It was a mistake in developing a QB to have him work for two years with a guy and FINALLY develop some chemistry with him only to have him traded for challenging 1st team all idiot Joe Phiilbin's horrible people skills. Same with Clay and how his contract was handled. You have a young QB who just put up his best season as a pro, and you rid him of his most prolific scoring target (Wallace) and his safety outlet at TE?

To say that the Philbin era did Ryan no favors is a huge understatement.

That being said, while I enjoy watching Wallace do what he has always put himself in position to do (make plays!) I'm very excited about a Landry/Parker combination that could be unstoppable.

Ohio State is the best program in CFB. Meyer has defined his HOF career by coming back home (Ohio people do that a lot it seems) and creating a dynasty that I think will have 2-3 more championship trophies before Urban retires.

All of my pro teams suck, I absolutely LOVE being a Buckeye fan. It's all I have.

They look soft this year. They don't want the Buckeyes again.

This will be a tough week, because you have to prep for the short week in game 4. Schedule gods were not favorable again.

We're closer to my prediction of 4-12. I see no good news.

How can fans forget the first half alltogether. The pats were playing prevent defense most of the 2nd half because of their huge lead. Of course we scored on them in the 2nd half. The one thing I took away as a positive was Parker. If he continues to get better, it's all good. I thought Jay would come out and ball after not making the trip last week, but no.

    Bingo.

The 2nd half was fool's gold. Neither side of the ball came ready to play. Game changed when Jimmy G got hurt. So I take no solace in us coming back when they're strutting their 3rd stringer out there.
