Just...um...bad football. This defense is unreal bad. The defensive back play is just...the worst. Win or lose, this team isn't going anywhere. Now just watching and hoping to see players like Howard, Parker, Tunsil, Phillips, etc grow.
5 win team. No identity. No running game. No ability to stop the run when you know it's coming. Just a poor team from every angle.
Actually teams play better with backups. Dalton, Hill and AJ Green could all get injured today and our D would still get toasted.
So glad I passed up free tickets to the game today.. I may take my tablet to the bathroom to watch the second half of this stinker because that's what this team deserves.
I know this sounds awful but this game is just killing my passion for this team. I haven't been upset about anything from this game. Just numb and hoping to see something different next year.
But hey it works in practice against our top 30 defense! It fools our AWESOME LB and secondary every time!
I'm not surprised. This is what I expected. This team isn't good at all not just right now. This is who they are. This team will win 4 games at best. They are a poorly put together team and Tannehill is continuing to prove to everyone he isn't a franchise quarterback. 5 years in the NFL and 29 years old. This is who he is. Anyone still hoping needs to come to reality and accept the fact that along with most of the team they need to replace Tannehill as well. All around this is a bad team that needs a major overhaul. Signing overrated free agents year after year doesn't plug up any holes. They are only bringing in more mediocre talent each year. Stop trading picks and rebuild through the draft.
So far I'm pretty disappointed in what I've seen from our QB. He's missed several open targets and the team's walked off the field because of it. I don't know what he's looking at honestly. And the 2nd interception was atrocious. Come on, really? You're a 5th year QB and you're panicking so bad you make a late throw across the middle with pressure coming at you? Your arm gets hit and you act surprised like you don't know how it happened. Starting to think maybe the slow starts haven't been all because we've played "Super Bowl caliber teams." You look just as inept in the 1st half against the Browns at home and something's wrong.
This how I feel. A win against Cleveland wouldn't mean anything anyway. Still not going to the playoffs. This game just exposes any hope that some fans had for this team. This is what I expected. This team isn't talented.
The Dolphins have finally succeeded in killing the last bit of passion i had for this team. Congratulations Stephen Ross and Mike Tannenbaum. The rest of this season is going to be a slog.
Yup this team is disemated by decades of poor drafting. They have no depth and mediocre starter talent. A couple of big splash FA signings does nothing to fix that.
