And every team who has done it has won the SuperBowl the following year. Got this from a Colts fan site Pittsburgh Steelers 1974: Won Super Bowl IX (10-3-1) 1975: Won Super Bowl X (12-2) San Francisco 49ers 1988: Won Super Bowl XXIII (10-6) 1989: Won Super Bowl XXIV (14-2) Denver Broncos 1997: Won Super Bowl XXXII (12-4) 1998: Won Super Bowl XXXIII (14-2) Indianapolis Colts 2006: Won Super Bowl XLI (12-4) 2007: (???) (13-3/14-2)
The Colts can do it. If Harrison had been in that last game, they would have been able to move the chains and end the game.
I am a big Peyton fan and I hope that the Colts return and he gets another superbowl ring. That would be one shy of Brady. Either way, anybody but the pats.
Yeah, the Patsies are every tv network's "darlings" this year and they can do no wrong. If there is one player on another team that I root for (of course not against the Phins) is Peyton Manning. I would like him and Tony Dungy to get another ring because they're two of the classiest guys in the NFL. Marvin Harrison just returned to practice yesturday so if he can start playing again, then look out for the Colts.
The difference between how the Colts and Patriots handle themselves is night and day. The Colts are the definition of class and the Patriots are the definition of a$$
