The 4th quarter of this game was pathetic. It was Cleo Lemon, AJ Feeley, Cam Cameron, Ray Lucas level of pathetic.

That being said... let's look at 4 reason we won the game.

    1. Cleveland is a dumpster fire.
    2. Our defense wasn't as pitiful as last week.
    3. Jarvis Mandry is a beast.
    4. We didn't miss 3 field goals.

    Four reasons Miami won:

    1. Cleveland missed FG.
    2. Cleveland missed FG #2.
    3. Cleveland missed FG #3.
    4. Matt Darr's punt that pinned the Browns deep in OT.

That's weird, I thought Tannehill lead 4 scoring drives. and got ~8 yards per play.

This is the 3rd time now that we were gift-wrapped a win and couldn't capitalize on anything because our defense might be the worst it's ever been, and our offense doesn't start playing until the second half.

That feeling when you have to pray that the other teams 3rd/4th string quarterback doesn't continue run a train on your starting defense for the second week in a row.

Allowing 17 ppg. Good enough for top 10 after this week it seems.

number one reason we won is we're simply better. better team won even if the play was garbage. I'll take it. Its an improvement over the last four years. How many times did we play like garbage and win games last year? Its actually a good sign when you can play a C+ game and walk out with a victory

Gotta give it to Cleveland and their coaching staff. They came to play. And played hard they did.

Against 3rd and 4th string QBs for 2 out of 3 weeks. Literal nobodies. "Good enough for top 10" LMFAO.

This is probably the worst stat you could attempt to throw out to prove your point. Garrapolo was about to have a career day on us before he got hurt. I mean HUGE day. I shudder to think what Brady would have done to us. Not to mention New England had 2 ROOKIES at GUARD FFS.

The defense is so much worse than the offense, I don't know how much more obvious it can be for you.

The team is still turning ball over too much. The first two weeks it was the other players on offense, today it was mostly Tannehill. To fumble the ball on that last possession of the fourth quarter was airheaded and unacceptable. Made some good throws but this team still hasn't complemented each other this year. Trying to be patient but it's like getting your teeth pulled.

    1. The defense is awful. AWFUL. We got lucky holding Seattle to 12, that's helping their average, and the Pats hung 31, probably would have been more if Jimmy didn't get hurt.

    2. The fumble everyone is talking about, was where Tannehill was looking left, and the right tackle got beat like a drum, and had a strip sack from the blindside, right? How is that on Tannehill?

Guys, this is the NFL not college. Blowouts are not the norm here. These are all professional football players. Any given Sunday is a real thing.

    Ask the Steelers.

The Steelers are a weird team. On paper, they should be a 12-4 every year. But there are 3-4 games a season where they're badly out coached/unprepared and lose to teams they have no business losing to. Like today. Not really relevant to Miami, but it's why I don't take Pitt serious as a legit contender in AFC.

Duh, he's the QB everything is his fault.

    ...what? we won?

That was in spite of him....again. He wasn't responsible for that.

I take it you don't follow sports betting at all.

West coast teams don't travel well to the east coast - especially when the game time is earlier. You add in Rex Ryan circling the wagons and yup - that's all I have to say. Hell, you're a Dolphins fans, you should remember how it works when they travel west.

I agree. The Dline cannot stop the run. The LBs can't really do much of either. Our DBs are a mess. Its not pretty.

Not enough fingers being pointed at Maxwell. Terrelle Pryor had his way all day.

Also, when Pryor lined up at QB, we seemed surprised when he ran it despite the fact he's really not a threat to throw. Should've thrown a pick to Howard and he only threw like 4 times.

The way we played him at the goaline was ridiculous.

Tackles get beat, he's not going to get a clean pocket every play. He was in control of the football, under a minute left, in a tie game, in his own side of the field. I'm a defender of Tannehill, but I'm not going to defend that play. He needs to protect the football in that situation, take the sack or throw the ball away, and at least give the game a chance to go to overtime. So the most you can say is it was the tackle's fault the tackle got beat, but you can, in no instance, fumble the ball away in that situation. If he wanted to play loose and fast he should have waited until they crossed midfield.

He didn't see the guy? He literally got hit in less than 2 seconds.

I'm pretty sure this was the only sack of the game too, meaning he had every reason to trust his oline could hold up for 3 seconds.

It was a 3rd and 7, we needed at least 3 seconds and the RT didn't give it to him. It all worked out thankfully, but that's on the right tackle.

That's ridiculous. He was looking left, you know going through progressions. Is he supposed to predict the future and know that the right tackle is going give up pressure in like two seconds? He had no chance on that play. Guy got a sack from his blindside, and tomahawked the ball out. That happens to the best QBs. 100% on the lineman.

Dolphins had no business winning that game. I had already given up and conceded to my friends that were endlessly rubbing my face into the dirt. Somehow, Miami wins.... and my friend is a Chargers fan who is the same record now. So he's super quiet this morning.

His arm was hit on one of the previous interceptions. I admitted the tackle got beat, but protect the football.

I think the defense was just as, if not more pitiful than last week. The offense they played again just wasn't as good as New England's.

How do you protect the football in that situation? Bruce Smith was the king of the chop. There's no protecting because toy don't see it coming. You don't know there's a problem until you get hit, and then us top late because they've already chopped your arm.
