To be fair.. he couldnt really step up. By the time he the pressure is all over his right side from James getting beat, Tunsil is beat by his man who steps in front of Tannehill. If he didn't get hit from behind first, he would have gotten it in his face. Bottom line He still held the ball too long.

 

replace the whole team

Offence is stinking up the joint but the defence are their own worse enemies. If they could tackle it would be a different game.

No QB in the league has a clean pocket on every pass play. Yet the good QB's feel the pressure and move around to avoid the pressure. This is now Tannehill's fifth year in the NFL and he is still clueless whenever he gets any pressure in the pocket.

The fumble was 100% on Tannehill.

Look dude, the defense has stunk tonight, but aside from one big play, that was actually covered until stills broke his route and took off downfield, this offense has stunk just as badly. Ryan just committed the cardinal sin, another turnover while standing still. Be realistic in the assessment here. There's plenty of blame to put on the D for not getting off the field, but the offense isnt helping themselves, or this team either.

As you state if he did he would have been planted on his arse, Tunsil got beat, James got beat so that's your bookends gone. Turner got beat, so 3 out of 5 olineman not doing their jobs and it's THill s fault

You are right. His only real escape attempt would have been to the right.. Jame's side. James actually did a decent job taking his man deep behind the drop. Problem is Tunsil got driver more back instead of outside. Ryan should have taken off to the right.

Pressure on this play as we type and Ryan almost throws an INT trying to escape pressure. Stupid decison. Again, waited too long tomove.

 

Wow, I don't know what to think about Tannehill making that throw.

I don't really think James got beaten as bad as some want to say. He did a good job, pushing his man back behind the drop point of the QB. The problem is Tannehill just didnt move. Even with pressure from both sides.

 

Coach needs to bench tannehill and fire James at halftime

 

I've defended Ryan Tannehill. It's not all his fault. But the offense continues to come out and stink. He is the leader of that unit. He has start being held accountable.
