Is he in real estate and they call him plum dog? A guy who always ran raffles and the Browns backers crap at the sportsbar I used to watch games at moved out to AZ and posts on Facebook about the Young Buckeye Club.

He has a very easy voice to remember if you have ever met him. Super nice guy.

Im super proud of them this year. For them to overcome all the injuries they have is pretty awesome. The injuries did allow some unknowns to come to the surface. Gsellman is another good pitcher. Lugo is likely a 1 year wonder and pen piece but Gsellman has the stuff to be a good one. Rivera is a hitter as well and should be the 2B next year. Better defenser than Murphy and every bit the hitter he was before his out of body experience this yr in Washington. Its a shame deGrom and Matz didnt stay healthy. They would be tough to beat. I still like their chances with Syndergaard and Gsellman but not so much with Colon and Lugo. We shall see. Offense is going to need to continue to produce. And theres no Clippard for Terry to blow leads with over and over.

Not for me. A good day at work for me means I just made tens of thousands. A good day as a Dolphins fan means week 17 just concluded. Or we just beat some winless team with their 3rd string QB in OT. If the Fins had a decent offense or a promising young QB then it wouldnt be so bad. We have very little young talent and we arent in great shape for the immediate future in terms of personnel, front office, cap etc. Guess it depends on how much you like your job. I love mine but i have 2 growing businesses. 1 is my own business and the other is working for a Broker where Im essentially working for myself. I had a lot of jobs in the past i hated tho.

I feel like this happens to the Mets a lot though. They start putting together a vicious pitching staff and then injuries start happening ..... remember Wilson, Isringhausen and Pulsipher? Ugggggh. Should've dominated the league for years.

Not the same guy, but I'm sure as sh*t my buddy probably knows him. They have a real tight knit group here with that fan club.

Sure do. I have Wilson and Izzys autographs. Those 3 never produced at the mlb level like the current Mets have though. They have spit out an amazing amount of young pitching studs. Michael Fulmer from Edmond, OK (where i went to college) is going to win Rookie of the Year this year. But they got Cespedes for him so its hard to complain. Its incredibly unusual for that many pitching prospects to match or exceed their expectations. Harvey, deGrom and Syndergaard have all exceeded the scouts expectations. Scouts are wrong a lot tho but Harvey was thought of as a #2 or 3. deGrom wasnt even a prospect and Syndergaard despite having all the talent in the world wasnt a consenses #1.

Matz has been really good when healthy as well and now Gsellman has shown the stuff to be a solid #3 type. He apparently has come a long ways velocity and stuff wise over the last yr. He was never thought of as a rotation piece and he now throws 94 with really good sink and a good slider. Wheeler is the only guy who hasnt performed at a high level and even he was a 3.5 era guy before missing the last 2 yrs. Harvey was terrible this yr, has gotten fat and is a douche but i really hope he picks it back up next yr so the Mets can hopefully trade him for some good prospects.

So for Syndergaard, deGrom, Matz, Harvey, Wheeler, Fulmer and now Gsellman to do what they have done is remarkable. Youre talking about 5 potential All Stars plus Wheeler and Gsellman to come through the same organization in a 5 yr span. That happens almost never.
