Only for fun, but I am absolutely expecting a close game this Sunday. Let's go! 1. Miami and Tennessee will combine for at least 50 points. 2. Ryan Tannehill will throw for at least three touchdowns. 3. DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry and Marcus Mariota will combine for at least 150 yards rushing. 4. DeVante Parker will torch Perrish Cox for two touchdowns and over 100 yards receiving. 5. Rishard Matthews will torch Byron Maxwell for 1 touchdown and over 100 yards receiving. 6. Jelani Jenkins will be benched for Neville Hewitt, who makes a game-changing play for Miami. 7. Brian Orakpo will harass Ryan Tannehill for all four quarters. 8. Cameron Wake and Jordan Phillips will perform well in the trenches, totaling at least 8 tackles and 3 sacks. 9. Coach Gase will receive his first unsportsmanlike conduct penalty as a head coach for lighting into a referee. (just a hunch) 10. Miami will win. Barely.
1 nope 2 lol 3 150 ea 4 only if he plays with matches at some point during the game. 5 absolutely if he plays 6 should be done already 7 yup 8 unlikely 9 yup 10 unlikely
Getting Pouncey back will be huge. He may actually give us a threat of a run game. Amazing how much better QB's perform when able to lean on a run game, and this week may be the very first time we have one this year. Pouncey has become very under rated.
Pouncey is over rated. He has been here in the past and we have not been able to run the ball. We shall see how much of an impact he has.
We've run the ball just fine in the past. the problem then is that our coaches barely called runs. We had THE fewest attempts in the league last year. This year, our backs haven't been effective. Chances are that has to do with the oline injuries and playing in a new offense......and playing 3 really good defenses in their own home.
If Pouncey, Albert and James start and finish, then based on history, we will run for 150 and win. That would make it 7-1 with those three
We also have the fewest rushing attempts of this season of the teams who have played four games. And we've only run the ball twice more than Green Bay, who's played three. However, we also only have the 22nd most pass attempts, and the fewest total plays of the teams who have played four games. We need to figure out how to run more than about 55 plays a game on offense, which is about 10 per game below league average, and about 25 per game fewer than the best teams.
11. Jack Conklin (aka Conky) pisses off Wake to the tune of 5 sacks. Then is thrown into the Everglades...
