Installed my shutters this morning and my sister's this evening. I've got multiple ice bags taped to my body and will sleep like a baby tonight.

I'm wishing the best for anyone in the path. Be safe everyone.

Stay safe all of our brothers in areas effected by this. All the football talk is irrelevant... Wishing the best for you and your loved ones.

    Slightly left of center
Ive been thru a couple category fours and a five and they are no joke boys and girls. Please take it seriously everybody and be in a secure safe place during the storm. Anything wood may go down. Get inside some concrete. May not be fun but neither is having 150mph wind thru your living room.

Be safe my brothers and sisters.

Our home in the Redlands was destroyed in Hurricane Andrew, so I feel for what you are going through. Hopefully the Hurricane will stay over the water and avoid creating the destruction a category 4 can inflict when it crosses over land.

We have had a few few close calls here in Maui this summer and hopefully Florida will get as lucky as we were to avoid major damage.

Best of luck to you and all my fellow Dolphin fans and all the people who are in the path of this major storm. Stay safe.

Already a lot of power outages in Jupiter/Palm beach Gardens areas reported, including my parents house. Hopefully everyone is staying safe.

Still standing. Lost power for a couple of hours but it has been restored. According to reports the eye wall missed us by about 40 miles. No structural damage but lost about 40 feet of privacy fencing. So much rain the posts are just leaning over. My rain gauge was full and it holds 5 inches. Quite a few limbs in the yard but that's about it.

The tropical storm warning has been canceled and the clean up begins.

Appreciate all the concerns and mine are still with the folks to the north.

    Beat Tennessee damn it!

Haven't heard anyone bring this up yet, but with all the standing water......I'm a little worried about the zika virus flaring up.
