I don't think Landry was quite out of his break yet.

Two entirely different type of throws. Getting hit at your legs while throwing impedes any potential velocity a QB can put on the ball.

he wasnt IMO. That route just took too long to develop. James couldnt do enough. That's what happens on a third and 9 though.

Really hard for Maxwell to contain on those plays when he is grossly being held.

They're gonna keep running to Maxwell's side. They know he won't tackle.

Looks like Maxwell accidentally made a tackle after giving up the completion.

We thought the offense was inept...but this defense is just downright terrible.

Wake still gets there for half a sack while being held badly with no call...

Should have been a penalty on the steelers on that sack.

To all people here who say we need to get rid of wake, watch him get that sack while being held on replay a few times. Then proceed to slap yourself

If people think we need to get rid of Wake it is likely because he is being wasted here, not because he can no longer play.

You'd think that, but before the last few weeks we heard all off season that we needed to get rid of him because he wouldnt recover from his injury, or he wouldnt paly at a high level blah blah blah. its there, go read it.

The narrative NOW is boo hoo wake is on a bad team, that is new.

People advocate for trading Wake, not being he's lost the ability to play, but because his career is winding down, this team needs picks to rebuild. By the time we're ready to compete, Wakes career will be over.

His speed, agility, strength and balance are second to none. That rush to the sack, while being held was impressive

That's the narrative now. the new one. No one was saying this in the offseason. a TON of people here were banging the table to get rid of him and said he wouldnt play at a high level again. Go read the board. This was directed at them.

I'd also like to point out that getting rid of him because the team blows is ****ing stupid. Especially considering Wake wants to be here

I like the quicker passing, seems like Gase is making some adjustments to the offense. Ajayi is running really good today too.

We are going no where if this team is rebuilding and the cuts show that is the goal. Wake does nothing towards the rebuild again outside of being great to watch.

It's really not a stupid idea at all when you're facing a potential rebuild. The logic behind it is pretty sound, it's the emotion that makes it confusing.

He's gunna play out his contract here and probably retire. It's a wrap. He's not being traded so it's a moot point.
