Dude.. don't make it more complicated than it is. My memory is that your positions on certain things (described earlier) have changed. You and Fin-D say otherwise. Nothing more.
I know what I think. You remembering something you think I said, and me remembering that I didn't say something aren't equal. I know what I think and have thought. Its not that hard because it has not changed. This is why i bring up that I'll happily and readily admit when I'm wrong. I never said or implied that. I know that as fact because I know I never thought it. You are wrong. That is fact. Unless there's proof to say otherwise.
Yeah, my position on Tannehill, the oline, sacks, and Tannehill's pocket presence is the same today as it always had been.
Exactly. My thoughts precisely. Who gives a **** about volume stats? If thill is throwing for 300 yards a game it means we are likely behind a lot. Only stat anybody should be concerned with is ypa, td, int and qb rating to a lesser extent. YPA will tell you much more than total yards. Unfortunately, the casual Dolphins fan doesnt have the knowledge to look past volume stats. I think thill throws 24tds and 13 ints. Hopefully he improves his YPA dramatically and has 28+ tds. If he exceeds 25 tds and less than 12 ints and has a respectable YPA ill consider it a success. With Gase and this offense theres no reason Thill YPA should continue to be so poor. Put up or shut up time. No more excuses. I have high hopes for this passing game this year.
If thill scores 42 tds theres no way we miss the playoffs. No way. Its not happening though. Those are insane numbers. You would be hard pressed to get those numbers on Madden lol
this tells me absolutely nothing on whether your confident in him being your qb of the future…what are you convicted about when it comes to this qb besides his oline is mostly responsible for his poor pocket presence.?
He posted this back in September. Since then I think his views have changed, he even started a thread apologizing saying that he was wrong about Tannehill... Correct me if I'm wrong, Resnor.
Sort of...lol. I was apologizing for arguing things (that I still think were wrong) that were probably meaningless overall, cause Tannehill may just not be good enough.
i believe he's now calling his ''sorry thread a knee jerk reaction and after today he was last seen telling us we have no clue what were seeing..lol
you have high hopes for the passing game but you think tannehill sucks. are the walls padded in your home?
Judging by the games I bet on today, you are absolutely right. I had one win...and it was the Dolphins. Vegas didn't stump me on that one atleast.
i had a pretty good today, except the ravens screwed me costing me a huge parlay. flacco missed a wide open wallace lol on the three yard line at the end of the game. wallace will curse me to my grave
resnor just thought tanny would avoid pressure more this year and had his doubting thomas moment of wondering if we never fix the oline then we cant continue with tannehill. out of mercy i think. but the oline is fixed for now so that doesnt apply. resnor is still on the tanny bandwagon so long as we hgave a decent oline
He had one play today fairly late, where he had a clear running lane in front of him, and could have run to pick up the first down on 3rd, but instead chose to throw a fairly risky pass instead. I was yelling at my TV, but he made it work. Beyond that, I can't recall any other plays in today's game where he made the wrong choice by not running. We'll see what the upcoming ones bring.
I know the play you mean. I was asking for the conservative run, too. As soon as the receiver caught it, I thought, damn, that took balls! Not sure I'd trust an inexperienced TE though. Wasn't that who it went to?
Dude, what is your issue today? Things I've argued about, for instance, people saying Tannehill needs to get rid of the ball sooner, that is an inaccurate statement, but I was saying, I've been arguing against things like that, when it really didn't matter if he keeps being surrounded by bottom of the league talent. It was a knee jerk reaction thread.
Yes, I think Gray. And it wasn't a normal throw or an easy catch. They showed a replay from behind the play, and Ryan threw across his body to Gray who was running to his left and down the field.
