So the NFL.com shop is featuring new grey/camo 'Salute to the Service' gear. It's not bad. I like grey and think this is a unique and cool piece of clothing.
The camo is butt ugly, but the slate color is awesome. 100% of the proceeds go to the Pat Tillman, USO and Wounded Warriors Project*. * Be cautious of the WWP. My dad is paralyzed and he won a settlement so he was able to get the finest chair, bed and van for paraplegics. He's in his 70s, so we've been looking for places to donate these things to once he's gone. WWP was the first place we thought of, but upon further inspection it seems not a lot of the money is actually going towards helping vets. I would appreciate any info that confirms or refutes that.
WWP Results for various Charity Checker website below. Note - there seem to be two different WWP charities - 'Wounded Warrior Project Inc.' and 'Wounded Warrior Project Long Term Support.' The links below are for the 'Inc.' program. I haven't looked to see the difference between the two. CharityNavigator CharityWatch GuideStar (Need to Create account for full information)
