Phil Rivers and his backups carve up the defense all drive. They could have gotten off the field on the 3rd and 14, but failed. They were all sorts of bad after that play on that drive. Not good enough.

Hopefully the front office and Gase will realize this and do something to upgrade the position in the near future.
Few observations from Qualcomm. Hard Rock is so much nicer. Gets pretty loud for being 75% full. Allow a 3rd and 13 and 3rd and 14. Brutal. Have to find a way to pressure Rivers. Miami is going to have to throw the ball. Chargers have no respect for it and are playing everyone up there. Tannehill missed Jones on the 1st drive for a wide open TD when he hit Gray for a 9 yard gain. Grant just ALMOST broke that!
How'd I know that was coming. Now it's the offenses fault today, that the defense has been on the field. Even though the defense just kept themselves on the field after allowing a 3rd and 14 for how many more minutes? Also, we've had the ball 10 minutes, to their 12. So, it's not lopsided at all to this point.
Offense needs to start playing. Defense has done an okay job so far considering they're facing one of the highest scoring offenses in the league.
Need the offense to answer, even just a FG to give the defense some time to rest. We can't keep rushing for no gain when we are behind by two scores. Mix it up more, with some play-action.
the battle in the trenches is just sick. san diego arguably has the best dline in the nfl. definitely top five
