Need to try and find a decent gaming laptop as cheap as possible, hopefully on black friday/cyber monday. although that's like finding a unicorn. any tips ?
I was actually looking at laptops (though not gaming laptops) on Best Buys website today, and was pretty bummed. I worked for years and years selling them before my store was closed and I was laid off, and prices always gradually came down while quality gradually came up. But its been three years since then, and it seems like the same quality laptops I was selling in 2013 are now more expensive than they were back then. Seemed like a decent one costs around $600 to start. i5, 8gb RAM, 15.6" screen.
Some good deals in there. If I hadn't already played it on the PS3, the PS4 version of the X/X2 remaster for $9.99 is worth it.
They tweet out PC deals too. Seems like that list is pretty much representative of physical games first and foremost.
Lots of good deals on that list. If I didn't already have my gaming schedule full into the future, I'd pick up the PS4 ed of GTA5. I've been waiting for it to drop like that for a long time. The skyrim remaster for $25 would have been very tempting a few months ago too.
Cyber Monday deal at Amazon: PS4 Pro is $340 right NOW. I'm a little annoyed, because I bought the $370 deal from ANTOnline. But there was no real way to know Amazon would discount the Pro this much.
http://nintendoeverything.com/target-holding-b2g1-sale-during-the-week-of-march-5/ Most games buy 2 get 1 free week of March 5th at Target.
I don't know if its online or not. Its a scan of the upcoming newspaper ad, which I would think certainly applies to in store. If I had another game beyond Horizon: ZD that I was interested in, I'd wait the five days and get it on Sunday, rather than Tuesday. But I really don't, especially after picking up Civ 6 earlier this month. In years past, I believe that they've done this more than once. I picked up The Witcher 3 and MLB The Show as part of the sale in 2015, and I know that I took advantage of it a few times before that as well.
I've taken advantage of Target's buy 2 get 1 deal in the past and it is both online and in-store. Unfortunately Wii U and 3DS games are often limited in their deals.
NieR Automata PS4 version is $45 at Amazon. Best Buy is price matching. If you have GCU, you can get the game for $35.
I picked up Shadow of Mordor for 4 bucks and Enter the Gungeon. Will probably also snag Witcher 3 GOTY, Civ 6, and Neir Automata before the sale ends as well. Hopefully Friday the 13th goes on sale too.
I don't expect any new deals beyond what's already on there. They've gotten rid of flash sales, too. Probably under pressure from publishers. I've spent $150 on the Steam sale already.
ME Andromeda is on sale at Amazon for $11.47 on the PS4, and $13.57 for the XBOX One. Damn good deal for a fine game.
I was talking to someone about game deals yesterday, and realized that over the last year and a half, I've gotten eight new games, but only paid full price for one, Horizon Zero Dawn. Getting games the day that they come out isn't quite as big a deal to me as it once was, and you can generally save about a third of the price if you wait a month or so.
Lots of games on sale at Target this week. All Lego games are $19.99, and I'm thinking of picking up both the newer Marvel game and Ninjago. Waiting on The Show until it gets cheaper later on, or a B2G1 sale.
Just Cause 3 XL is like $6.50 I picked up Deus Ex, the season pass, and JC3XL for like $13 on Thursday.
Yeah Deus Ex for $4 is an absolute steal. Worth much more than that. I was thinking of jumping on the JC3 as well. I have the base game but never bought the DLC.
Sony PS4 controllers have dropped to $49.99 at Walmart, if anyone needs one. Picked up my first new one since I got my system four years ago today.
So uh, they're $39.99 at best buy (all colors). https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-d...station-4-red-crystal/5973316.p?skuId=5973316
