If you're a Dolphins fan and have a heart condition, I apologize on behalf of the organization (even though I have zero affiliation with it).

I had the feeling the Chargers would be tough at home, and they didn't disappoint. Their defensive line pretty much held Ajayi in check save for a rush or two, and they really hammered Tannehill pretty much all day. I kind of wish he didn't have to take those hits, but by gosh, his standing in there and completing long passes is damned impressive. I can't say enough how I appreciate that!

    Quick Hits

    - Kudos to Albert for coming back with the dislocated wrist. Pure toughness. As one poster notes, players who aren't buying in to the process do not go back in. I cannot agree more.
    - We have all known this, but Tannehill is one tough SOB. If we can continue to run, Tannehill might just be what we need. I hope he continues having really solid games like this.
    - Ajayi is our workhorse, but Damien Williams is an asset to this team as a #2. He's really productive in his limited role.
    - I thought Ajayi was injured early in the game. We'll check the injury update later this week. I thought he had a knee, but I guess it was just his boys. Glad they limited his overall touches today.
    - Cam Wake. Need I say more?
    - Miami has to stop these penalties. Against a better team, things could get ugly.
    - Kiko Alonso. WHAT A PLAY! Some have been down on him, and earlier this year, maybe rightfully. Taking bad angles, missing lanes, etc. Since the win streak, he's been playing really well. He's a half-step late on blitzes, but he's becoming a good tackler and has made some nice plays in coverage. He's a keeper.
    - Nice couple of INTs by Lippett. He's becoming better, but is still obviously green. I'd like him to become more physical, and get better with his footwork.
    - Bobby McCain had a really bad game today. So did Jakeem Grant. I like both of them and hope they both bounce back from this.
    - The offensive line seemed a bit tired today. Hope they bounce back next week.
    - What's up with playing against stout D-lines week after week? Have one again next week. If this offensive line plays an average D-line, it should be a piece of cake.
    - What a waste of an Earl Mitchell beast of a play near the goal line. Nice to see him back.
    - What a waste of a good 30-yard strike to Parker. He really looked like a dominant wideout on that catch.
    - Miami allowed something like 8 first downs by penalty.
    - TOP was in favor of San Diego by about six minutes.
    _________

Good teams win ugly games. Dare I say that Miami is a pretty good team?

There are definitely some things that need some work. And at times, this offense looks inert. The defense can look really good, and puts the opposing team in some 3rd and longs, but these penalties kill. The ball is rolling their way now, but this won't always be the case.

This team has to clean up in some areas to be truly dominant. Hope they continue to grow.

    Awesome write-up!

It's great to see positivity on the board. It's true, winning cures everything.

Most satisfying win in a long time

    Parker is back.

    Brutal drop by Grant.

    Refs, lol.

    Rivers, lol.

Kiko's pick six was Cajun coach from Waterboy gif good.

One day the NFL will learn that fixing games for marketing purposes is counterproductive (sorry, was that anti-Semitic?)

Doesn't get much better than this In terms of fighting an uphill battle and winning.

BTW - In reference to the play where Ajayi got hurt in the first half. Did Ajayi get hit with a phantom ro-sham-bo EMF gun, or did the guy who tackled him have an aura that resonates with ball crushing Archons?

Because I refuse to believe that his testicles hang as low as an 80 year old...
