Always said he was a tough SOB. His deep ball is vastly improved. Now he just needs to scramble better.
Whether we won or lost, Ryan Tannehill was the man today. He made some great plays, took some huge shots, and as usual he never backed down. That throw to Stills, while taking that big hit. Damn. That nice touch pass to Williams. Impressive. That 18 yard run after escaping a would be sack. Impressive.

You also had confidence he could help lead the team to another score if necessary. Great game by Tannehill.. but also by many others. Gase has them playing!

Tannehill now has some luxury with the threat of the run game. Gase hopefully can get more out of Parker and develop this passing game
Yeah, but nobody was expecting it to happen all on one play. Good Lord it's going to be scary someday when we have a healthy line and a healthy Parker.
i thought his best pass was the one that didnt even make the stat sheet. third and long in the waning minutes of the 4th he hits davonte parker for a thrity yard pass only to have it called back on a bs holding call
Don't get me wrong. I'm still not at all sold on Tannehill. Only thing that would sell me on him is if he does this consistently. But I'll give the guy credit when he has a great game. Besides I've seen the guy play like nothing special with a good OL and running game. What's different IMO is that somehow Gase is getting a LOT of guys on the team to play with higher intensity.
man we're close. in third place for the two wildcards. the afc west is our enemy. we're ahead of everyone else
You want KC to keep winning, especially when they play Denver twice. If KC continues to play well, it certainly helps our chances. We HAVE to beat Baltimore though, as we will need to maintain a good conference record if we are to assure ourselves a spot. We have a legitimate chance of winning both games coming up. If we do, then we are definitively in the mix.
Literally nothing can be said against 17 today, he resembled a top 3 QB in the league. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come, because if so? This is a playoff team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guys, we cannot let RT fool us. Just because he is getting good offensive line play, it doesn't mean we cannot stop blaming him for all of our problems. Heck, I don't care if he has demonstrated an ability to read a defense when given the opportunity. I don't care that I can't remember the last time he has thrown an INT. I could care less that his deep ball has vastly improved. We need to keep blaming him for all of our problems. All of the Matt Moore supporters need to rally behind me. If you "wanted to see what Brandon Doughty has" don't stop now! Do not forget how much he let us down early in the season. Stop making the excuse that he had almost no time to get rid of the ball. IT WAS HIS FAULT. I cannot stand for you guys to blame Dallas Thomas or Billy Turner. Those sacks were Ryan Tannehill's fault.
That's a good point with KC. If it wasn't for that division, we'd be in the thick of things in the playoffs.
This is how the offense should have been built since he was drafted. It's ok to have balance. The running game has opened everything up and Tannehill is delivering. He's not a 40 pass attempts a game QB and that's fine by me. I like the efficient, accurate Tannehill we've seen the last 4 weeks. He's become a different QB with a healthy line and an effective run game. I love it. 20+ carries a game for the backs, 20-25 throws a game, plus him scrambling, it's perfect. This is the QB I hoped he'd become. I wasn't sold until Gase started getting the ball to Ajayi and everything start to flow. The Dolphins of the last 4 weeks, that's the team I've been looking for.
I don't want to speak too soon, but maybe the light has come on. Half way into the Gase regime after a learning curve and after being able to run the ball. We want to all see improvement, they have not even come close to what Gase wants Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For what it's worth: PFF Grade: Quarterback grade: Ryan Tannehill, 78.4 Yes, the defense came up with two huge turnovers in the final minutes of the game, but Tannehill really put the team on his back by making a number of outstanding throws under pressure. With a clean pocket on 15 drop-backs, he completed 10 of 15 throws for just 98 yards, but when under pressure on 11 snaps, he connected on seven of nine for 142 yards and a QB rating of 155.8. He toasted the Charges with his deep passing, as he completed all four throws at least 20 yards through the air for 138 yards and two scores. [h=3]PFF Game-Ball Winner: Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill[/h]
Guess what, guys? That was our 9th game and RT played lights out. There's reason to believe he will continue playing at a similar level throughout the season, 'cause God knows we're going to need him playing that way to make the playoffs.
