Jared Goff may get the start from what I am hearing from Rams fans. Tough team on defense, top 10 in run and pass. Bottom in the league in both on offense
Uggh...I know he's a rookie, but I hate playing against a QB with no tape on him. Maybe Fisher won't start him.
Your stats are a little off; they're 8th against the pass and 17th against the run. On offense, their best stat is 25th in pass yards, then 29th in rush, 31st in total yards and last in points.
They're tied for 5th against the pass and 9th against the run per attempt/carry , which IMO, is a little more accurate than yards per game. This is a tough defense, no doubt... it'll probably be a low scoring game, we'll have to grind it out.
That's the game we don't want to lose, as it could well come down to conference record for the wildcard, or even a tie-breaker against the Ravens.
Keep the Ajayi train moving, play action passes, terrorize whoever starts at QB and win a tough game. I don't want to get ahead of myself by 6-4 with 5 wins in a row would be amazing. Regardless of the outcome of this game, I've never been more confident or felt better about the direction of this organization.
Losing to an NFC team is not as damaging as losing a conference game, which is not as damaging as losing a division game.....my sphincter is a bit more relaxed on "Miami vs NFC" gameday
I like the fact that they were able to beat the Jets yesterday and still looked bad doing it. Do they pick the Phins to unveil Jared Goff?
With our record, we have to win every game against a mediocre or bad opponent to stay in the playoff hunt. We can only afford one or two more losses. The Rams is a must-win game.
Yes it is an important game with the AFC West having three teams with 7 wins. The Patriots have 7 wins. Probably have to grind it out. At least they don't have to fly out to LA, they won't have jet lag. And actually LA had to fly back from NJ. Hard to figure out which Rams team will show up. But overall they're mediocre and the Phins have to continue to beat those teams.
absolutely Rick, if we want a playoff spot, odds are we can only stand to lose one more game ... I just meant relatively-speaking in terms of tie-breakers ... and my gameday stress level
Rams DE Quinn admitted himself into a hospital last night; family says he's in stable condition after suffering multiple seizures.
