I've been on the train since he was expected to miss time to start the season. We need to see if Steen can man the ship, if not we need to invest in a new OG and a new C, enough of his paying a premium for guys who are going to play 10 games a season max. We are wasting cap space and resources by rostering Mike Pouncey and Branden Albert, neither of these guys can be counted on to stay healthy.
i was really hoping to get at least eight games out of our offensive line. apparently four is all we get.
I think Albert wants to stay with this team. He's showing this staff that he wants to play, damn the injuries. There is something to be said about that.
Much rather just park a traffic cone out there than bring back Dallas Thomas. Or maybe a garden gnome?
Well that was fun. With Albert and Pouncy out, does this team go back to the one that loses to the Titans and barely beats the Oranges? Remember Samson Satele, can we get him back?
Got a notification on my phone earlier today that said Dolphins fear this hip injury could "shorten Pouncey's career". Not positive what exactly it means but...
I just read Armando's column from yesterday. He said that Gase told the media that Pouncey was questionable, but everyone he talked to on the staff privately said there's no chance he plays. Pouncey was sent to a specialist yesterday to try and figure out what's going on...so he could very well be out for weeks. There's no way to tell though.
I will say, there's no motivation like a 1st round pick waiting to take your job! Tunsil is the eventual LT. Albert will be welcomed as a G, but will get LT money elsewhere , as he should.
