I haven't heard a stadium this loud ever, in miami for pro or college. (watching UM vs FSU game) take in mind i wasn't alive for the majority of the OB era.

    Stadium is definitely much louder.
It is also more comfortable with the shade and there is better food and beer.

Only the play on the field remains tragic.

Home field advantage can only take you so far when the product is hot garbage.

Its unfortunate that we only have three more games in this beautiful stadium this year, but we've made it count so far. Need to keep it rolling. 7-1 at home isn't unattainable.

I have yet to experience the remodeled stadium. I was wondering if Club Seats on the visitor sideline (200 Level) are in the shade this time of year? I'm thinking of getting tiks for the Cardinals game so any insight would be appreciated

Have to give credit to Ross. The renovations look incredible! Now if they could workout the audio they provide during games to those that can't watch the live broadcast. The quality is horrific. I appreciate the ability to at least hear the game that I can't watch, but it would be nice if there weren't so many technical issues. I don't like listening to the opposing teams broadcast, yet sometime I am forced to due to the problems with our own.

And it's not isolated to our home games.

Love the stadium though. It looks amazing. I can't wait to get down there in the next couple years to watch a game live with the renovations... it's been far too long.

I thought the upgrades were a game changer yesterday, I've never seen some many fans in their seats during rain, the players were aware of how loud they were during the rain, and it showed Imo.

Was up in section 336. That biznatch was loud as hell on third downs. Cards did nothing when backed up. Refs had to help them get across their own 30.

6-1 at home this year. Enough said.

Talk about evidence of a true home field advantage and its impact on a team, the mental advantage, and the competitive advantage.

The Seahawks suck on the road, losing four games, undefeated at home once again...

And no owners really doing a study on how to replicate that venue to get all those competitive advantages..

That team is addicted, like a drug, to the adrenaline that is created in that venue..they obviously can't find enough of the drug to get as high when their on the road.

    So fascinating to me.

I can't tell you how much I believe in the performance and attendance of a crowd...

I think we've already seen some evidence of our own impact..that rain game was an impressive performance by the venue design and how it allowed the fans to be comfortable and happy.

For these reasons (the stadium), I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to week 17 against the ****ing Cheaters.

I say the place will be ROCKIN'! Particularly if we need a win-and-in. It's a new era for our beloved Dolphins...and Ross deserves some credit for finally getting some stuff right. He took some lumps, but he's learning. Damn glad he's the owner.

    Me too...
I never once bashed Ross, from early on I thought his intentions were good, his instincts about redesigning the venue were correct ( especially moving stands closer and roof), his deep pockets were bountiful amidst the ignorance by our own city officials, and he didn't meddle into the football affairs..now we can count and thank him for hiring our coach of the future and current head coach of the year candidate.

Folks liked to make fun of him for having tebow day and having some celebrity partnerships but it didn't bother me at all..,

Isn't the stadium rebuilt? Why is this pinned to the top still?

Last phase being completed this offseason. I think they are club level upgrades.

I believe that there are both some cosmetic things going on, as well as a few tunnels for pedestrians.

I wonder if these improvements never happened, if Miami would be one of those teams moving to LA or somewhere else

The thought crossed my mind last week too. Had someone else other than Ross, who was dedicated to keeping the team in S. Fla bought the team, what chance that might have had of happening. The declining local fan base and TV ratings are scary. But with the stadium improvements, thats likely all been warded off, at least for a few decades.
