I know it's going to sound a little off to some people that I'm not happy/ecstatic with a 6 game win streak, but let me explain.

I am pleased that we have leaned on the running offense the passing offense, the running defense, the passing defense and special teams to win games at various points in the 6 game streak.
I am not happy because we're not getting all of them showing up at the same time.
I'll be happy when we win games by playing well in all phases.

I am pleased with the way Tannehill has played in the 6 game streak.
I am not happy because I still remember how he played in the Cleveland-Cincinnati-Tennessee stretch.
I'll be happy when he maintains this level over a longer period.

I am pleased with the way Kiko Alonso has played.
I am not happy with the other replacement level players at LB.
I suppose I will have to wait for next year to be happy.

I am pleased that Marquis Gray and Dion Sims have had some good moments in the win streak.
I am not happy because they have been invisible at other times.
Hopefully Gase and Co. can get them contributing more consistently which will make me happy.

I am pleased the way the OL has performed when healthy
I am not happy because I have to use the 'when healthy' qualifier.
I'll be happy when I have more confidence in our backups.

I am pleased that in 4 of the games in the streak that we were clearly the better team (Pittsburgh, Buffalo, NYJ and SF) for most of the game.
I am not pleased that 3 of those games ended up close through the offense leaving points on the field and the defense allowing late comeback opportunities.
I'll be happy when we close out strong wins with strong winning margins.

I am pleased because we are a genuine playoff contender.
I am not happy because if can get things a little tighter and working more efficiently together we can be a Superbowl contender this year, not next year.
I'll be happy when we show that we are a genuine threat to win the Superbowl.

Good enough is the enemy of better. We've been good enough to win 6 in a row, but in all of those games there were many opportunities for better.

Fair points. As I've said, this team has been here before in very recent years. In the thick of the playoff hunt. Then it all seems to come undone at the end. I'll be pleased when they finally hold it together the entire way through a season and don't leave us sad and depressed with a collapse down the stretch. This Ravens game will be a very good test. They beat Baltimore in their house and they will continue to prove these are not the Dolphins that we have been let down by in seasons past.

    I am freaking happy.

Good enough is also a step above not good enough towards the step to great.

    Basically
    Step 1: Terrible
    Step 2: Bad
    Step 3: Good enough
    Step 4: Great
    Step 5: Profit

I want to agree, but I just can't do it. It's hard to win any game in the NFL these days, and the definition of perfection in this league is doing the very best you can with what's right in front of you. I mean, it would be great if we were winning games 126-3, but that still results in the same W in the win column regardless.

Besides, you're ASSUMING that Gase and this team have shown their very best every single week instead of playing to the opponents. For instance, your point about Tannehill...could Gase have asked him to throw for 600 last week? Sure. Could we have won by more? Sure. But he also may have given up a few picks, got injured behind a 2nd string line, gassed out our beaten up receivers to the point where they are more likely to get hurt, etc. And what would that have proven? Nothing. A win is a win.

So until someone comes up and beats us, I think this team has earned the benefit of the doubt to say that they will find a way to stay in ballgames. As long as they keep earning W's though, I am estatic...I wouldn't care if the score was two to nothing each week. Because until they lose, they're perfect for this stretch of the season. And that's all we can ask for as fans.

Maybe you confused the word "happy" with "content". Because you're out of your mind nuts if you're not happy over a 6 game winning streak.
