I guess coaches routinely sit their highest paid receiver fur the second half of games, with the receiver having done nothing to deserve it.
Being an coaches decision makes even more damming. We were fighting for a chance to get to the playoffs and our "number one" WR gets benched because he was complaining way too much about not getting the ball? How are you defending that man?
Agreed. Philbin was a great coach for us. Every decision he made is not to be questioned. Like sitting Rishard Matthews for how long because of a dog house. Matthews deserved it.
The truth is, no one knows what happened really, just that words were exchanged between him and Philbin, we don't know if he was benched, or if he benched himself and I tend to doubt that he benched himself.
Wallace was benched because of his attitude. I'm not saying every decision Philbin made was good, or even right...but, the dude couldn't stand Tannehill, but never benched him for an entire half.
Wallace was benched in BAL last week if im not mistaken, before coming back in later in the game. Or so I heard.
We were eliminated from contention, the game was meaningless. That's why we force fed Hartline to try and extract some value for him in the offseason. Wallace was a dick I'm sure, but to say he quit is a stretch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As much as I love Landry, this is probably true, he loves playing football, and scraps for every inch, and I love having him, but he's limited physically.
