Yep. Though probably won't be able to play until the weekend. I've waited nearly a decade, I can deal with a few days...
No interest. It was a curiosity a decade ago, when I was watching clips about it on X-Play in the first days of the PS3, but even then I'm not sure it would be something I'd be into. Today, I don't care at all.
I want to get it since Best Buy has a buy 2 get 1 free going, but there's only two games I want between Last Guardian and World of Final Fantasy. I would buy and return FFXV as my 3rd game, but I used reward certificates (which should now be expired), so I think they'd screw me on the refund.
So... because I'm me. I bought it last night. 12GB download on PSN so that wasn't bad (to be honest I blame Desides and my PS4 Pro). Because of Desides and that FF15 optimization crap on Pro, I bought a Pro and a 4K TV with HDR -- Shame on you man. Shame on you. Anyhoo, I wanted to see more games with HDR enabled and good 4K output (not necessarily native, but 4K at all). I read that Last Guardian does it well. So I caved. Looks nice. The framerate wasn't great but then I saw this and it made sense: I really feel like Sony needs to get that fixed fast if they want the Pro to really work. Can't have crap running worse.... But that's a discussion for a different thread. Last Guardian is a Team Ico game... What that means is: It's just as cool and lovable as all of those games are. It's also got the same weird camera and weirdness with the environments as those games have. And while the lighting and overall look of the game is nice, there's definitely something low-tech about it. Probably because it started as a PS3 game. I'm only and hour and a half in and I will let you know as I move on.
