you aren't going to damage it any more. in other sports players play with torn meniscuses and acl's... the damage is the unnatural bending of the knee on the hit. walking is normal use.
Coach said something in the presser along the lines of RT getting into 4 or 5 fights in the lockerroom wanting to get back out on the field to watch the end of the game. dudes a gamer.
im wondering if gase saying tanny may return is just coach speak to maintain a competitive advantage more than anything else find it hard to believe he plays again this season but if anyone can I guess it's that kid. he's tough as nails
It all depends on the ACL. if he does come back it would probably be only in the post season. I highly doubt he sees the field for the last 3. probably 0% chance if im guessing. all e can do is hope.
Incredible news! Even if he doesn't play a snap this season. It has to be hard enough for an athlete to miss the rest of a current season. But to have an injury that impacts the next season has got to be beyond devastating. So glad that's not the case here.
Just add that to the "he can't throw the deep ball" and "his teammates don't like him" list of myths that's been debunked. Oh and "he can't come through in the clutch". Can't forget about that one either.
Didn't Russell Wilson suffer the same injury? Or was it just the MCL tear? Tanny is a tough SOB. I'm hoping he misses a week or two at worst. Either way, I'm so ****ing thankful he didn't tear anything and requires no surgery.
Wow! That's fantastic news.. (news changing so quickly!) IF Moore can hold the fort for a few games, it would be perfect if Tannehill returns for the NE game assuming we need a win to get in. This team hasn't been to the playoffs since 2008 and I really really want that drought to end. Of course realism bites and I still fear the @Buffalo and vs. NE games, but Denver losing to TN opened up a lot more possibilities than before.. so who knows? Is this the year??
I'm just the opposite- I'd rather see him sit out the rest of the year and come back in 2017 at 100%. There's no sense in rushing him back out there and risking a career-ending injury to win a single game...even if that game does end up getting us in the playoffs. It's definitely not worth taking the chance for someone you hope is the face of the franchise for 10 more years.
I'm torn on this, I mean you don't want him to further aggravate anything or potentially make it worse, but if he can go in three weeks and we somehow get into the playoffs, you have to wonder. On the other end, what if Moore plays really well? I think Tannehill sits and we let him pick it up next season. I think that is honestly the best case scenario with this situation. Let Moore finish the season, we lucked out with this not being an ACL tear. Lets thank the stars and hope Moore plays well enough for us to make a postseason run.

Incredible news. Still a chance we can have a playoff season, as Moore is good enough to help us win some games while Tanny heals.
Let's pump the brakes a little. He's seeking a second opinion just to make sure. Not that the first report is inaccurate, but he's doing his due diligence as an elite athlete.
