    So CAL
To counter the remark about 2011 he also had a damn near 90 qbr on a line that was absolute garbage 9 int's to 16 td's is not a bad ratio for a guy with 22 starts under his belt never starting a season until 11' in those 22 starts (Carolina/Miami) he was 32 td to 26 INT, through 22 starts RT had 17 tds to 20 int's. you think RT has had bad lines 2011 line was about as good as setting sail on a screen door and im sure we can all agree that moore has played on way worse teams than this yr or even last yr team. You cannot even complain about 2 passes being underthrown someone who hasn't thrown a ball to stills will def under thrown him and I don't care what qb you put in if I remember correctly rt underthrew stills constantly until a few weeks in, and going from throwing passes to heartline in 2011 to stills 5 years later is about as opposite sides of the spectrum as it gets as far as speed lol.

but I am not saying moore is 02' brady but can we at least give the guy a chance to prove anyone right or wrong before we start saying he cant or wont. all I do know is his running game is way better w ajayi than it was with bush which will help anyone succeed IE. RT. so hopefully he can beat the jets so we can all argue next week about this and that. but beat the jets is first on the agenda.

Yeah, you're memory is off... Tannehill has been lighting Kenny Stills since the season opener. If Kenny hadn't muffed a 70+ yard bomb in game 1, we beat the Seahawks in their house opening day. If Stills hadn't slipped on the wet field in this game, that INT doesn't happen either. That's the same pass play that Stills has scored 2 TDs off of this season. Tannehill was 15 of 20 for 195 yards and 3 TDs on the day in a crazy monsoon where Palmer couldn't complete 2 in a row. Give him some credit.

    Who said that bolded part?
    To counter what exactly?

I hope like hell that Moore plays at a high enough level to win us 2 games. I'm all in on Moore due to Gase.

No one is persecuting him nor belittling him. And that pass was under thrown and hung up in the rain. You saw it from Palmer all day. Credit Stills there. Once Tannehill went out of the game, our offense was outscored 14-3. If not for a great effort by Kenny Stills on those last 2 passes, we lose that game. End of story.

Again - all in on Matt Moore and hoping we win the next 2 against the stej and bills. I have faith that Gase will have him ready, but for those with concerns about Moore, there's reason for it. Hopefully he does step up and deliver.

    :sidelol:

Are you kidding me? Begrudging? I clearly said it was because of a hit. I clearly said it was a good read/decision to throw to Stills. That's... defending him in the circumstances if anything. Everyone knows the weather was bad, I don't think that really needs mentioning. However, I wont sit here and say it was an amazing play, and he did that on purpose, when it's pretty clear the intention was likely to hit Stills deeper downfield (likely the endzone) on that play, but that's not what happened because of the hit.

Heaven forbid we talk about what actually happened on the play because it's apparently frowned upon to even be somewhat critical of the play because it was Matt Moore (probably because he's, not Tannehill for some of you) even when I'm defending him in a sense on that play. I've been pretty clear that I didn't blame him for anything. Again, if Matt Moore and Kenny Stills planned that all along, then absolutely, hell of a play. That's just... probably not what happened though. Its more likely it was due to the hit; hell, it even could have been underthrown because the ball was wet.

Sorry it apparently hurts your feelings or you think that's me having an axe to grind trying to minimize Moore because you apparently think I'm holding a grudge against the guy because he's not Tannehill and he "made a play". Make it out to be whatever you want man. I'd say the same damn thing regardless of who threw that ball. Moore, Tannehill, Brady, Namath, Montana, Ray Lucas, your mother, I don't care. Have a blast. I'm done with garbage like this. You guys can carry on with your Tannehill / Moore debate. It doesn't interest me.

No doubt. He's got better pieces here now than during that 2011 or any of those Carolina years.

As much of a Moore support as I am - I have to admit the only pause from me is because he basically hasn't started a meaningful game in 5 years. How much zip has he lost on his deep ball?

Other than that, I'm optimistically curious now that it's Gase coaching him up instead of Sparano's regime or dolts like Zac Taylor.

That's exactly the point I'm trying to make, that keeps getting twisted by the same old guys that should have been included in the last purge. I've NEVER once faulted Matt Moore for the decision to throw, it was exactly what I would have wanted him to do on that play. I won't however connect the end result of the play, to what I believe the intent was. That play was finished by Stills coming back to the ball because it was short; again, likely due to the hit, or Moore not being able to step into it IMO. That's not me faulting Matt Moore for anything people. It's just... not giving him the full credit some people want to because they feel the outcome gives them a way to say, see... That's what a QB should do, or something along those lines.

Bottom line to me. Good decision to throw. I don't believe the throw ended up where it was intended. WR bailed us out and made an alert play on the ball. End of story IMO. That's not begrudging anything, or anyone, or even criticizing anyone. That's just.. too hard of a concept for some people to grasp though because they want to passive aggressively turn this to a Tannehill vs Moore thing now or whatever the intention is.

So, as previously stated, I'm moving on. Theres nothing else to say about the play for me. These guys can have at it and play there little game with reversed roles now.

I saw what happened on the play. He had 1-on-1 coverage with a backup, so he put his trust in his own arm and in Stills abilities. He got hit while launching the ball, so clearly Stills adjusted.

I'm just trying to understand why one would even try to paint some doubt as to where the ball would end up if he got it off cleanly?

I never did that. I said the intention of the play was likely an endzone shot though if you look at where Stills is headed BEFORE he adjusts to the ball, and when Moore lets it fly. Holy ****. Again, I haven't knocked the guy in any way...

As I just stated.. Bottom line to me. Good decision to throw. I don't believe the throw ended up where it was intended based on the hit, or a wet ball. WR bailed us out and made an alert play on the ball. End of story IMO. That's not begrudging anything, or anyone, or even criticizing anyone.

8 is my favorite number, so if Moore gets us to the playoffs I will buy his jersey (or convert my Culpepper to a Moore).

I do not recall you saying a single thing about the play Moore made until I mentioned it. Of course I propped up Moore's play. There were people on here suicidal after Tannehill was injured, I was trying to calm them down and show that Moore is capable of wining games for us, which he in fact helped do. But, again because you have some agenda against me because GASP I do like some players more then others.

I understand you feel Tannehill is flawless, but guess what I don't follow you around and attack every post you make.

I will literally pay you if you can quote 1 example of any person on this site claiming Tannehill is flawless.

Thanks 25 for thinking of the boards suicidal feelings. Thank God you were able to run and post about Moore, our fears have all been alleviated!. Wow. Go ahead and quote anybody who says Tannehill is flawless... I know I've never said it. Pretty sure this bunch of SUICIDAL FANS we have never said it. But just say foolish things , some might believe it's true. Most here believe that Moore will be ok. Most feel we are better with RT at QB. Most here will want the Phins to win no matter who is at QB. Most here see what you try to do when you post. Most here are fine with him being our QB going forward. Most here feel that Ryan is not a HOF or FLAWLESS (Lol) Most here are a little disappointed that our QB got hurt. Most here will back Moore because he is now our QB. Most here don't have to push their agenda to make themselves feel better about their bias toward a player. Most... go Phins
