Your OP has been torn to shreds by other posters like Sick in a funnier and more eloquent way than I probably ever could. No reason for me to beat that dead horse anymore as I've posted way more than enough about it. The over glorification is so ridiculous its to the point where it appears satirical. Period.

Again with the 100% false narrative about spewing hate and hating Moore. this **** is getting seriously old..... You are entitled to your opinion just like I'm entitled to think its BS.

Please Quote one instance of :
-Me(or anyone else for that matter) being upset about Moore succeeding.
    Or
-Me being upset that you or anyone else 'supports Moore' (I support him too, genius).

You can't because its made up. Should I fill a post with my quotes of Moore support and my posts that were ecstatic when we won? Would I get an apology? You're one of 'his few fans here'???? What does that even mean???? This entire thread is 20 pages of everyone supporting Moore...So idk what youre even reading. News flash, thinking your OP is ridiculous is not mutually exclusive with liking or disliking You OR Moore. Several of you are having a hard time grasping that. We can like and support Moore while also agreeing he is a backup and nothing more than that.

As for your Maxwell comparison, not close to the same scenario IMO, but to humor you id say I feel the EXACT same way I do about Moore and RT. It was one game and Maxwell has already proven himself the far away superior player (top 10-15 all year), so unless Maxwell is too hurt to play, it would be foolish to start X over him. No one in the NFL would start X over Maxwell based on what we've seen from them. Sound familiar?

Maybe add some hyperbolic rhetoric comparing Howard to Deion or Revis in their prime.

Or....the people in this thread are just comprehending on some 8-9 year old level.

For example, I just told you brainiacs it doesn't make sense to ask for FACTS on something I stated was MY OPINION. But did that stop you or anyone else? Not at all...why would it.

Based on the history of a few posters, it is MY OPINION that while they were happy we won...watching Moore look outstanding "irked" them.

I stand by that, i truly believe it....but no...I do not have any "facts" to shell out on this matter so I must be making things up.

Does anyone have any "facts" Matt Moore isnt better than Tannehill? Nope, they sure don't. What you have is a pretty solid educated opinion that he is infact better, one i agree with. But after further review we have no "facts" to back that up so Key or whoever else believes that can ask you to PROVE this and you can't beyond a reasonable doubt. Kind of a stupid game to play isnt it...asking for all these facts on a message board built on opinions.

This is true. However he has found a good home in Carolina. He may be the best WR in the NFL at getting open deep, issue is rather he catches it or not is a 50/50.

Watching last night it is obvious CAR wants to get the ball in to his hands as much possible.

If that dude could catch he wouldve had some serious TD numbers in his career.

I always liked Teddy Ginn, kid has a speech impediment I think, or learning disability, and always seemed nervous. He didn't ask to be drafted here....he won us some games single handedly with his kick returns. Glad he's doing well here in Charlotte.

Little known fact about Ginn is he was recruited here at Ohio State as a CB (he was the 1 CB in America) he even played CB as a freshman all be it sparingly. They moved him to WR his sophmore year and the rest was history.

Kind of odd because he truly does have a CB's hands but certainly not a CB's physicality.

All I know, is he was one of the funnest players I have ever watched at the collegiate level.

did you see him worried about that safety contact instead of the ball on that one deep ball? I sure did

did you also see kirk cousins in his drop stare down that seam route that the safety kurt coleman jumped in front of?

I liked the way he went up for the ball. He was really good at adjusting to under throws. I thought it was a huge mistake to trade him. His kick off returns were enough to keep him around. He was also good enough to just run deep and clear out to make some room.

Yeah I agree. Everyone got caught up on him being a "#1 WR" and his draft position, as opposed to being a weapon for a football team as one of the best 53 players. Thats what bad teams do though, and hopefully we're past that now.

    Lemme help you.

It's comments like these, which naturally make someone question certain posters' motives regarding so-called "support" of Moore.

"Moore is terrible. I said it a week or so ago, but if you bench Tannehill, you play Doughty, and you're calling it quits on Tannehill AND the season."
"I'd rather see Doughty in the game than Moore."
"Under no scenario should Moore be the starter."

"I'd take a churro vendor over Moore, personally.
Edit, I wouldn't take doughty over Moore or that churro vendor though."
    - dWreck
    https://thephins.com/threads/is-there-a-better-qb-out-there-than-moore.90380/#post-2884159

Not to mention Resnor's barrage of "He was lucky!" posts in regards to him leading the Fins to the game winning FG vs. the Cards. Then he comes in and plays about as well as you could ask against the Jets given the circumstances and then a portion of the thread is fixating on would-be interceptions, which was entirely ironic given how completely disregarded Tannehill's would-be interceptions have been by any adjusters. The new resident scout and expert game tape analyzer doomed Matt by proclaiming he was going to throw 5 INT's in his next appearance.

But this is just some of it. The skepticism regarding support of Moore from the Tannefluffer 5 (I'll quit this label game if you guys do) is warranted by the cumulative lack of respect Moore has gotten from them up to this point. I mean I still remember the "Oh em gee he makes $2million - CUT HIM!" posts and all that forum noise about preseason.

It amazed me how little talk there was of the possibility THIS offense and Adam Gase could raise Moore's game like it has for Tannehill after the latter went down.

If you're genuine in your support - then don't pay any mind to these comments.

I never said moore would throw 5 picks in his next start...so lets not put words in my mouth...i said and i explained my reasoning which is mostly lack of eye and head discipline that if we get behind the scoreboard and are chasing it and we have to pass to try and catch up a 5 int game is in his future

Cause i dont see how miami can continue to run the ball and work off pa if the scoreboard says to the opposition i could care less about your run and gase would have to then play more of the 5 man protects and his coverage ids and reads then flow to tbe forefront

And yes i find those things to be very suspect and exploitable in those scenarios

You're not saying, you're just saying.

You're also completely disregarding the nature of head and eye discipline coming from familiarity and experience out on the field playing with these 1's ......... in that offense after a 5 years of having to back up Tanny.

Yes i am disregarding that because sitting the bench shouldnt play into that particular aspect of things unless your reasoning is lack of familiarity of routes relative to coverage played

Which i would say moore has a pretty good idea on as a 9 year vet route concepts relative to coverage

Head and eye discipline isnt always your head must be in tbe center of the field in your drop...jameis winston at times in his drop looks to the opposite side of his intentions before pivoting at the end of his drop to his intentions...its just about holding or getting guys to take false steps...instead of sitting on your eyes

Behind the sticks chasing the scoreboard red zone and traditional non pa drops are where its most exploitable

    What a reach...****ing pathetic.

Moore played better than a churro vendor thankfully on saturday, so I was happy about that. That was a knee jerk post from almost 10 days ago when I was upset that Tannehill had JUST got hurt that same day. You had to dig through something like 30+ positive posts about Moore to find pretty much the very first thing I said when I was upset about RT. Pretty funny you wasted your time doing that to try and prove your false narrative to be true.

It's no secret I dont think Moore is that good of a QB. I don't. ive only said it a bunch. Backup? Sure. I think he is a career backup for a reason and it seems several coaches agree with that sentiment. That doesn't mean I don't want him to SUCCEED on the dolphins. That doesn't mean I'm UNHAPPY the team won with him. That's pure stupidity to suggest. I've obviously calmed down since the 11th and dont think its catastrophic like I suggested when I made that FIRST post of mine, while upset as all hell. How I feel about him as a QB on the whole and my support for the team aren't mutually exclusive. Several people here don't like Tannehill but still watch the games and still hope the team succeeds.

    Your quote was:
Im still waiting on those quotes from me. Because aside from a comment I made about his pick in the NYJ gameday thread, its been nothing but positive from me. The irony is none of the quotes you posted were even from this game to begin with. Did you seriously link quotes from the TITANS game day thread too?

I was ecstatic about the win and screaming my head off for all of Moores big plays. Who is taking snaps is irrelevant to my support for the team. The suggestions that have been made were that I dont 'want' him to succeed, im 'irked' if he plays well, im 'unhappy' that the dolphins won a game with him. All of which are straight up BS.

    Try again.

I'm glad you dont care enough about my opinion. Meanwhile Your OP was just awful enough to make most people not care about yours either. So there's that.

I can say someone isnt a very good QB while supporting them and the team they are on. That's pretty much what some people have been doing here since 2012. Keep reaching guy.

Your 2 quotes dont even make sense. Obvious lie? Where am I upset that we won? Where am I upset that Moore played well? this is sad. Keep trying.

I guess by this logic everyone on this board who doesnt think tannehill is a good qb is 'upset' when the team wins with him and 'irked' when tannehill plays well?

Yes, I was very surprised that Moore played as well as he did against the Jets. My comments about the Cards gave was in reference to people crowing about Moore and his GWD. Tannehill gave him a two score lead, but that was ignored.

Yes, early in the season I said that if we benched Tannehill, I wanted to see what Doughty had, cause we know what Moore is. I think people should stop acting like Moore is the second coming off Marino after beating up on the Jets.

I get what you're trying to do, but I'm sorry not all opinions are precious and deserved to be respected. Same with people.

When people ***** and moan that YPA is the biggest indicator of a QB's eliteness, then Thill achieves an excellent YPA, and they ignore it.....then that is but one indicator (of many) their opinion isn't based on facts and is personal....and therefore, deserves scorn.

And these people often will do this while insulting other people's family. Like some others did with you and your son or some have done here with me and my wife. They are ****ing cancer.

He literally said he 'couldnt believe what he read' from people here about Moore during the "JETS" game and posted quotes from the titans and cardinals games as 'evidence' because he couldn't find anything... but naturally you flock to his corner. Wonder why.

There's a pretty big difference between supporting and believing. I didn't like the Culpepper signing at all, but I still supported him because, you know, he was my team's starting quarterback.

Just because the people you called out don't believe in Moore, doesn't mean they don't support him. And they all have plenty of posts saying so.

Really isn't that hard to understand. You can pretty easily support someone you don't believe in. That's not a mutually exclusive scenario.

Yep. I fully support Moore. However, I will not be at all surprised if he throws 3 picks against the Bills. I also will not be surprised if he throws 3 tds. That's who Moore is.
