Nothing happened. Its just douche bags who didn't like our opinions (and me and Deej don't often agree) started insulting his kid and my wife. Its what pieces of **** who hide behind their computers do.
And let me clear up what the grumpy guy is saying.. Someone made a comment in a thread JOKINGLY talking about sleeping with his wife etc. it was playful and harmless, and a couple other guy's also made comments. But when I DID? It became an attack. I never directly went after his wife nor another members family, I just chimed in. Thought I would clear that up with some FACTS , instead of letting people claim to be "a victim" (for likely the 4 billionth time in their lives.) at my expense.
Couldn't agree MOORE. His style is normally either very effective or very detrimental....hopefully the former as I forgot how exciting playoff football can be with the Dolphins in it.
Do not buy into the narrative Dad, its not even a half truth in his case.. Thats another thing kids can do behind a keyboard, make things up.
Those are they exceptions and your right, eye for an eye, I was referring to the topics where you can tell the feud was established on another site and it's now here...guess there's nothing you can do.
I made a similar post about preferring to see Doughty as opposed to Moore, but that was when we were 1-4. Now that the playoffs are in the line I'd much rather have Moore in.
You're still missing it ..... and I didn't even post all the unsavory things they said about the guy. It's one thing to question his skillset - it's another to trash the guy as often as people did over the last few years. I mean look at Resnor's comment about "under no situation should we start Moore". I'm supposed to believe he supports him? Sorry Rac, not buying it.
I realize that you're only trolling now, and my response is useless...but I'll try anyway. The Dolphins were 1-4, and w were talking about Tannehill getting benched. IN THAT SITUATION, I did not want to see Moore start, I wanted to see Doughty, as we know what we have in Moore. Saying Moore is trash was hyperbolic, something I know you understand.
Well.....let's see..... I have stopped responding to a number of individuals for a few months now and things haven't gotten any better. I guess I wasn't the problem after all.
Oh now its the last 'few years'? I thought it was just what you read from the jets game? or wait, the chargers game? AZ? IDR anymore because the narrative keeps changing. You dont have to buy it. It wouldn't be the first time you didn't buy common sense or simple logic in front of you on this board. I'm actually embarrassed for you, that you went through all the time to dig through all those quotes (most of them positive about Moore, rofl) and type all that out for literally nothing. So according to you, someone can't support a player or that players team if you don't personally feel the player is that good? If someone doesn't want them to start Moore for whatever reason, they are unable to support him once he is the starter? So I guess the people on this board who don't think RT is any good don't support him or his team and get mad when they win, irked when he succeeds, etc too? You're grasping so hard.
Resnor, some folks here have spent five years biting their tongues on Ryan Tannehill because of a select few that would scream bloody murder at anyone who didn't agree 100%. I can remember one time mentioning that his pocket presence was bad in a game and literally getting 30 posts by 4-5 people bashing away. You were often one of those posters DESPITE commenting around week 5 of this season that you were finished with Tannehill. But now a select few have come full circle. They hated on people for years, then they hopped in with the Tannehill lynch mob, and then they went back to trashing anyone who hasn't loved Tannehill from day one. And here we are doing it all over again because the few of us that were high on Moore years ago are starting to speak up once again. Do you realize how ridiculous that is? Matt Moore is the starter, and it has nothing to do with how good/bad Tannehill is. I think Finster is the only one here saying to bench/trade Tannehill in 2017 and you're not arguing with him......so it's obvious that all these posts here are just weak trolling attempts to keep up the arguments. I'd expect it from some folks here but you're better than that, aren't you?
Please. 1. If you bother to go back to my apology thread, you'll find that it wasn't that I was done with Tannehill, but that I was saying I was sorry for arguing all sorts of points that were seemingly meaningless since it was looking like the Dolphins were going to continue to trot out bad olines and no run game. In that scenario, only a guy with Wilson athleticism would be successful. 2. I remember arguing that you can't judge a guys pocket presence when he's not got a pocket to maneuver in. 3. I've never disputed legitimate gripes with Tannehill. What I have done, is argue when posters use different criteria for Tannehill, or hold him to a different standard. I've also argued with those who attribute all sorts of other problems to Tannehill.
But, getting back to the idea that you're getting bashed for liking Moore. THAT is patently false. People took exception with an overly optimistic write up about him. Reading your glowing review, you'd think Matt Moore was the long lost love child of Marino and Montana, and he'd been screwed for 9 years by evil overlord coaches, who refused to play him, even though he was the best QB on the roster. You gotta stop with this false narrative.
But toward the title of the thread, I don't think ANYBODY has said they don't believe in Matt Moore. We're all behind him, as we should be. Wish the same could be said for the starter.
One other thing...I think when you have a post that goes over the top in glorifying the backup QB, and then the guys who always bag on Tannehill start in, you're going to have the pendulum swing the other way, with other posters pointing out why Moore wasn't exactly playing like the greatest QB of all time. Look, I know that I get accused of being a "Tannehill lover," and people have this idea that I'm a massive a fan of his. That's not true, though. What draws me in to these debates, is seeing things that I don't believe are true, and I argue those. In the same vein, that's what drew me into the Moore argument. Frankly, I'm ecstatic that he played as well as he did. I truly am. He far exceeded my expectations...as did the defense, which I think allowed Moore to be so successful. I just don't expect to see that the next two games...but I hope I do.
False narrative? Everything I said about Matt Moore happened in the game last week. And I'm not delusional, I realize he had an amazing game that nobody could match on a weekly basis. But that doesn't change the fact that you're so quick to hate the guy that you can't even read words on the page. Let's look at false narratives- did you even read the original post before you starting attacking folks? I said he played well in Carolina, got hurt and played with concussions for far too long, sat the bench for half a year in Miami then played well again. - I said he goes off script at times...Gase said that too post-game. - I said he takes shots downfield when he sees it pre-snap...we saw that three times. - I said he laughs off mistakes....we saw that on his pick as he tossed a quick TD pass on the next drive. - I said the team loves playing under him...you can read post-game interviews by Bushrod and others saying exactly that. - I said he's won more than he's lost. He has a winning record in 2011, in 2016 and overall. Darn near every detail I shared was on film last week...yet here you are 21 pages later still calling it a false narrative. You (and others) are lying to yourself and we have to assume that it's only because of your Tanne-stiffy. But we can't control that, the guy is hurt, so I'm not sure what you're hoping to accomplish by keeping things going.
The easily dismissive tone and blatant unnecessary trashing of Moore that has accumulated on this board for a while now (not just in the last week) - yes leads me to believe that certain posters aren't really supporting Moore. It's moreso putting up with it for the time being since there is no other option. It really was never anymore obvious than the times fans and posters were clamoring for Tannehill to get yanked in favor of Moore. The teeth always came out. You could see it after the Cardinals game that some of the support was a little begrudging. Luckily Moore's performance last Saturday night put that crap on notice and those who'd rather him be off the team just have to be a little more covert about it ......... for now.
Completely missed the point. Intentionally, I don't know. At this point, I think it has to be, because it's been spelled out for you numerous times. The false narrative that you continue to spread is that you were getting attacked because you like Matt Moore as a QB. That is a false narrative that you continue to spread.
Guys...we could very well be celebrating a playoff birth come Sunday evening... How about some.brotherly love and some unity? We all know where everyone stands on our QBs...but guess what...theres 51 other players on the team. Come on yall...stop hating each other...and start hating Buffalo!
That's not a false narrative- people have been saying that for five years now and it's fallen on deaf Tanne-loving ears. You just can't see it because you've been too busy flip-flopping back and forth in your opinions to stay in the good graces of the troll gang. Or did you forget about the phase where you and a few others started a thread to bash anyone who didn't like Tannehill? I seem to remember you being in that conversation pretty darn clearly.
I really have no idea what you're talking about. I'm sure if it was a Tannehill thread, that I posted in it, but I fail to remember what you are talking about specifically. That being said, for about a week or two, I stopped posting about Tannehill completely, as did a couple other hated posters...and you know what? The arguing intensified, and even had Club level people in the mains arguing with the guys who always bash on Tannehill. For some reason, you, and a couple others, like to point the finger at myself, Fin-D, and a couple others, as the root problem of the Tannehill arguments...yet fail to ever address the role you and others play in them, from the opposite side. Further, continue trolling, I guess, with the accusation of me flipping on Tannehill. I made one thread, that didn't say what you think it said, out of five years of a very steadfast position on Tannehill. That's hardly flip flopping.
And, IT IS a false narrative. No one cares if you prefer Moore as a QB. No one. What I, and others, DO care about, is having honest discussions, not moving goalposts and switching criteria when discussing Tannehill.
If you don't care then stop whining about it. It's just you and the Troll King keeping this going with 5-6 others that like Moore. So if our opinion is not a problem, then there's absolutely no reason for you to still be arguing.
Anyone ever watch this generic 80's movie Art of the Deal based on the book by Trump? Cheesier than macaroni.
and don't forget the Manning like presence in the film room! it was one of the highlights, it would be a shame if it is underappreciated, puff, puff good stuff, good stuff... and natural too!
http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article122252494.html Nice words from Clyde, thinks he could start on "a bunch of teams"...I tend to think atleast 6-7.
