I woke up this morning and had emails from Lenovo thanking me for registering my new tablet and what my next steps should be. Thing is, I never did. I was asleep when this happened. The computer registered itself. I also received an email from Microsoft asking me why I switched my default browser to Chrome when Edge is faster and more secure. Both companies knew my full name. I've never entered my full name at anytime on my new computer.
Dude relax. There isn't a big brother and they aren't doing anything like that. I crept into your house through an open window, registered all of that, watched you sleep and used your toothbrush. There is literally nothing to worry about. You're just being paranoid.
Whew. Thanks for the update. At this point I'm just hoping you used my toothbrush to brush your tooth.
Thats really weird. Just yesterday, Facebook updated my recommended friend list, and the number one suggestion is my primary doctor, who I saw not too long ago. But he and I have absolutely no connection otherwise. I don't "like" his office, or practice, and we don't have any friends in common. We don't live near one another. It was weird. I suppose that Facebook may have "talked" to Google, and seen that I've visited the location of his office multiple times.
If you're on Facebook on your phone and your GPS is on, they know exactly where you are at all times.
