Firstly, happy holidays to everyone. Hope you all stay safe this weekend!
    _____________

    - Jay Ajayi gets the game ball. With a couple of minutes left in OT, Miami is pushed back deep inside their own 20, and Ajayi breaks one for 57 yards.

Three (count 'em!) 200-yd games this year!

I wholeheartedly disagreed with keeping him in there at the end. Their run D is just as bad as Miami's! Go with Drake!

I don't think his shoulder is terribly bad, but I don't get the call to keep him in. Maybe we'll find out later in the week. I'm sure a reporter will ask. At least, I hope one does. Gase has some 'splainin' to do.

    - Drake with the TD run and also putting Miami in position for the tie with a kickoff return to the 37 with a little over a minute left is special. He's a rook, but he's paying off in his first year.

    - Speaking of KO returns (and maybe even punt returns), there are at least three returns this year where the returner has put Miami in good position to score and Miami did not take advantage.

It happened again this game where Miami was up 28-24 with five minutes left and Grant gave us that boost. That could've been the dagger if Miami scores. Instead, it was all for naught. This cannot continue.

    - No one in the league has the cutting ability of Jarvis Landry. No one.

    - DeVante Parker showed a little speed there on that TD run. Kind of surprised.

    - I've said this before, but Damien Williams is really good for this team.....unless he doesn't get out of bounds and tries to get more yardage with less than a minute left in regulation with no timeouts remaining.

Love the effort, but know what's going on in the game. And having a guy stand you up opens the door for a fumble. But still, good game.

    - Matt Moore had a forgettable first half, huh? He looked a little more settled as the game progressed, but there is definitely a difference in QBs.

    - That D. And I'm not talking about Cam Wake's dong. Wow, did they reach 600 on us? The pass rush looked much like the Baltimore game....virtually non-existent. Give Taylor credit. Dude has some serious wheels and throws a good deep ball. Right-handed Vick.

Did they get 300 yards rushing?? Holy cow! They had some plays snuffed out, but you can only contain that running game for so long before they break one. And I would've thought 200 yards was the benchmark for a crappy game. The Bills showed why they're number one in many of the major rushing categories.

    - Xavien Howard had his "Welcome to the NFL" game. He was picked on and looked to make a couple of bad decisions in some zone stuff, to which they took full advantage.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually missed #41 today.

    Howard was burnt toast today.

    - And the man of the hour: Andrew Franks. Boy, you pissed off some fans in the game thread. That 55-yarder in really tough conditions was EPIC!

Dan Carpenter, who is usually pretty solid, missed a couple shorter ones, and he's use to the winds in that stadium!

Way to win back some fans. All we needed was a chance, and you gave us that. Well done, sir!

Well, this team wins ugly, but wins, nonetheless. This win kind of reminds me of Gase's first win. He was still pissed after the game. As he should be.

The main thing, we are winning! I want Miami to make the playoffs so bad now.

But look, a 10-win season?? Did anyone really think we'd get here? I would've been happy with .500. Now, I want at least the playoffs.

Miami has had some pretty significant injuries this year, and has still found a way to have a genuinely successful season. Two green coaches, and a team which looked to be rebuilding.

    Yet, here we are.

    Be safe, folks!

Win is a win! I hope this leads to Ryan getting fired. I don't think he should, but I hope Buffalo does. I always hate playing him. He has done a great job in Buffalo imo. He was a pass interference not getting called away from winning and Buffalo would still have a shot at he playoffs

After the Titans game, I was thinking we were looking at a top 5 pick. My step son is a Steelers fan, and was only too happy to watch that game with me.

I wouldn't have given you a dime for a playoff berth at that point...I hated the coach, the QB, the draft, the oline....we have our coach and our QB...we still need to upgrade the oline. But the draft was very solid. If Carroo can be a 45-50 catch guy (working with Landry in offseason will be huge), 2016 draft will be legendary.

I also love the attitude. Gase wasnt interested in the 10 wins or playoff chances. He was all about getting ready for the next game. What a great opportunity to get the clear SB favorites in our stadium.

There is a lot to be optimistic about with these Fins.

Thankful we came away with a win. For a long while there I didn't think we would get it. Props to Gase, our coaches, and the team. They never gave up on themselves and took advantage of their opportunities. Whether it's this game or the 9 other games we have won, the biggest change for this team is the change in culture, IMO. It starts with Gase, but credit goes to everyone. They have worked hard and prepared well. Their total team effort and staying strong mentally is paying huge dividends.
